Together with Gimme A Reason @gimme_areason / Bouffant Bouffant (Brett LaBauve) @bouffantbouffant we co-designed a shirt for our June 20th Pride event at @boneyard.bar The idea was first introduced by Brett to collaborate on a shirt as we both love one another's design output. The result was a commentary on the queer souls that have long come together to create moments of joy, weaving tapestries of dance and togetherness where we are able. The shirt graphically maps these energies between New Orleans (Gimme A Reason's home base) and Chattanooga (Monospace's home base). We ran with the theme that led us for our Pride event: "Joy is Resistance, Together is Better." To say the least - this collaboration will live forever in our hearts 🖤 From Brett, printed on the back: "With pride we weave this tapestry. Strengthening the ancient bonds set forth by the ghosts we never met, but felt. Feel. We continue to weave the sonic vibrations and smiles. We move. Together. Forever. We weave this tapestry. Together." From us, printed on the sleeve: "Thank You For Being Here" (a love note we print on all of our food menus) We have a limited amount still available online in our shop, Catalog. 100% cotton As Colour - Single Ink Print. Hello friends—it’s been awhile! But I’m so excited to finally announce what’s been in the works for a few years: Lindsay and I have been *chipping* away at a new apparel brand that offers performance wear specifically for women. And we’re beginning with golf. Why golf?? Lindsay and I began looking to pick up the sport and quickly realized there was a MAJOR gap in the market for women’s golf apparel. There are several amazing women’s golf brands emerging, but we struggled to find options that truly reflected our personal style and preferences. (And as former collegiate athletes, we both understand the lack of performance options for women across ALL sports at all levels). So, for almost three years, we’ve poured our time and passion into learning the craft of sportswear design—studying textiles, patterns, and fashion trends—all with a singular focus: to create a brand that women could truly connect with. I am so happy and proud to finally announce Other Reserve Sporting Goods: @otherreserve Give our page a visit and follow along in our journey. Our lease came to an end, and we've taken it as a golden opportunity to restructure and scale differently. We can't express how grateful we are for your support so far, and we're incredibly hopeful about the journey ahead. First things first - if you're worried about how this move will affect our current customers and clients, worry not! We've got everything under control, and it's business as usual. Now, why are we moving, you ask? Well, it's all about focusing on what we do best: careful, purposeful design solutions, and creating extraordinary merchandise for companies and organizations. This move allows us to step up our game and serve you even better, with a bigger canvas for our creativity. And while we’re sad to be closing the doors to our garage shop on E. Main, we’re INCREDIBLY excited and thankful to pass the keys to our beloved friends Bo and Julie of @po.mkt .
