OMG THIS IS 30!!! My birthday month has been full of celebrations, gifts, love and laughter!

1st: My @freshorangeshtx family definitely did it up for the lime to my lemon @themitchmars on Dec. 6th!

2nd: My cousins @manic__trae & @_jaadalee surprised me with an impromptu birthday song with a delicious cake made by @shortn_sweet6 (PS: she put her foot in it & didn’t even know it was my birthday cake!) the LUCK in POTLUCK!

3rd: @qweenmeek definitely is the sweetest for singing to me while I prepped her meals & she bought me lunch! A genuine friend indeed! And she did my nails & took very good care of my scalp!!! She gets me on point every time!

4th: Happy Hour w/ the OG crew @buttamanecane @tay_sstyles @sensei_jay30 at Taste Bar was more than needed! We laughed, reminisced, and made more memories!

5th: Went to @pressplayersclub and had a whole blast being team Brandy! My dear friend @xx._jr20 popped in with roses and spread some love!

Ended my night with the lovely people @therealsequoyah @stramango @aseonbase @jada.zhanaye where I was serenaded & caught the Holy Ghost all in the same breath!

Oh and @stramango saved my life by showing me a hidden gem to grab food because if it wasn’t for that chicken sandwich idk what I was gonna do!

Still more to celebrate w/ my fave @djmochaloca on Monday 12/29!! Come out and get lit with me!!! by @neci_canvas

Fresh Oranges Showcase is the FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH @1810ojeman … featuring local artists curated by scouting talents and encouraging their potential! Their requirement of a live band is certainly not typical! It’s an Encouraging way to get musicians, creatives, wordsmiths, and artists to come together to create an authentic experience that’s bound to inspire greatness!
After the show it’s the Jam!! All are welcomed to Jam! All musicians, singers, poets, rappers, and really anyone that can vibe with the band while they do their thing in the background! It’s an open Jam session for the band to explore with their artistry and vibe with the talent. Soooo… THERE ARE NO REQUEST!! Get up if you’re picking up what the band is putting down!

This past Saturday, I was blessed to have witnessed a showcase of talent that was beyond expression. @chris_harpe put on a showcase of handpicked talents @spindletopboomtownmuseum in Beaumont, TX. His endeavor of @weareopenonsunday is a movement led by Chris with the intention of reaching the masses through the message that God has blessed him with. My spirits were lifted and my heart was filled with the structural line up he chose!
I got to meet some amazing souls! Here’s a preview! Follow these beautiful humans for more information on their future endeavors because they are going places!

P.S. Yes you will hear me cheering the good folk on in the slides… when my spirit is moved… I SHOUT!! THAT IS CHURCH!!!! Oh! PLEASE TAG THE PERSON IN THE LAST SLIDE JUST CASUALLY HITTING THE CLEANEST HIGH NOTE EVER!!! taken in Spindletop Boomtown Museum by @neci_canvas

Thank you to @candidlyconnects for the opportunity to assist in your project to get your intentions out to the community! @curatedbydes is an individual whose vision is similar to mine as she is out to help the artists find their resources!! This event was everything amazing!!! Ain’t nothing like running into your friends when you didn’t know they would be there!

@highwayvodka was definitely a vibe setter in the intentional picks! Every drink was worth a conversation! taken in Houston, Texas by @neci_canvas

Previously in da garden… 🪴 @themitchmars “I can hear it in my headphones!!”

@xx._jr20 music is timeless and for all ages because he speaks on systematic real life issues! Speaking from the heart! It’s very peaceful & very soulful!!

@stramango is extremely multifaceted! She did 3 things at once in an hour! DJing, playing Saxophone, and displaying poetic artistry! Never knew I needed to witness that amount of greatness until I seen it!

@itscharlestyson as you can hear & see… this man is going places!! He really just lets his talent show! From picking the guitar to rapping MY FAVORITE song on his album!!

@xx._juice food… I was so pissed I had to smell it walking to the car that when I got in the car it could not make it to my mouth fast enough!! Dear lord that man’s hands are blessed! Y’all better catch him while you can because he’s going to end up traveling the world with his cooking!!

A TIME WAS HAD! I will continue to support these talents along my journey and hopefully one day will work with them! Manifestation 🪴🙌🏽💚 by @neci_canvas
