After 5 weekends of work, we can officially put a done stamp on the porch project! ❤️❤️❤️ It was supposed be done a year after it got put up due to the treated wood and now 5-7 years later, it’s been so long I don’t even know, it’s marked off the “to-do” list! So excited for tonight! This is the beginning of dad’s 50th year with the WHS football team. He was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning!❤️❤️ Dad said God told him he’d get 50 years and when dad was in ICU intubated at the beginning of the year I was a little nervous, but know God keeps all His promises! It’s a beautiful night for some football, the band was fantastic, the singers harmonies was phenomenal and all the ladies look so beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️ by @necktoback

FCA went well and Emily made so much delicious rigatoni! ❤️❤️❤️ Despite not having Football, golf or soccer kids we still had about 30 show up! ❤️ They are studying Roman’s and we met Ms Cooper who is going to start heading FCA, so that’s fabulous too! by @necktoback

Laurie Stover did a great job of putting on the first SMC women’s dinner at Sam’s Too, but honestly all women are invited! What a great turn out, I’m so excited about things to come, we gave suggestions of different places to go and different ideas/activities of things to do! It’s going to be the start of something great I think! ❤️❤️❤️ It was great fellowship and I got to see a lot of people I don’t normally get to see at church because they go to a different service! I’m shocked that the decibel level on my watch didn’t go off. 🤣🤣🤣 You could tell everyone was just as excited as I was to see each other. ❤️❤️❤️ taken in Sam's Too Italian Pizza by @necktoback

Weekly Worship, my summertime youth group! ❤️❤️❤️ Griffin did a fantastic job! This is going to be multiple posts because….. so very much! Our first day was adventure day and boy of boy was it! I decided to get up in the morning and take a shower at 4:30, I was awake so why not. I was told how to turn on the water to the shower trailer and the turn on the propane and then turn on the water heater. So I go out and turn on the water walk to the trailer and can’t reach the propane, so I’m going to put my bag down and climb up to get it turned on and find out the showers are locked, oh well, I can start my journaling, then try the door, it’s locked, so I go try the door I can out of and walk by the vehicles and the doors are open on the van and I see someone rummaging through them. It’s 4:30 am and I’m in my pjs and have my big poofy bag, so I’m like..Hey! And it was Steve getting ready for running club! So we try to go back in the door I came out and it’s locked too! 🤣🤣🤣 Thankfully the runners were up and let us in! So went to morning devotions and see pink toenails… tell me your a girl dad without telling me you are a girl dad! 🤣🤣 Then clean up crew and morning stretches before our grand adventure. by @necktoback
