Diabolus Bleed Divine ( the name of the characters's band) was set in 2007 in Velmourn in Grayfouh, Diabolus Bleed Divine, the band, started in 2004-2005. Everything was going great with Apollo's band with their songs as a form of coping to him. After he was attacked by a vampire, he decided to get rid of the body by cooking the vampire's flesh, when he ate it, temporarily powers were forming inside him – Mind reading, strength, agility, heightened senses etc – he decided to show this to his band, influencing them to do the same. The hangover of the bandmates was torturing, which led them to seek and hunt more vampires so they couldn't go through this again, this entire necessity for the vampire flesh was bordering on addiction. While Vincent, who is a friend of Venturie, the leader of a vampire coven, decided to discover who was disappearing with vampires after Venturie saw a vampire head in a hidden bush.

• Vitor was exposed to Violence since childhood by his father Iva, growing desensitized and used to it. His mother ana clara blamed him for her decaying marriage with Iva.

• Ana's rage led her to attempt to kill him with a sledgehammer at eleven, but was saved by Iva who killed Ana, and moved to Curitiba to start a new life and turn Vitor into a killer.

• Iva accepted Vitor as a transgender boy at twelve, but forcing Vitor to be more masculine, this made him often secretly break Vitor's dolls.

• Vitor wasn't being bullied because he hurt students while protecting a boy named James who was being bullied by them. Even though he had other friends, James was the only one Vitor truly cared about. he felt a strong feeling to protect him from other people and began to realize that he had fallen in love. This protection bordered on possessiveness by his fear of losing James.

• Vitor continued his life as a hired killer but He longs for a life where he feels like a normal person and has a quiet life with James.

PURSUING HIS VIOLENCE

• He lived with a religiously fanatical mother who was toxic towards Hellen, his younger sister, and violent towards James.

• After discovering that James was gay in his childhood, she began to hurt him in inhumane and cruel ways, leading James to become used to the pain, a behavior that lasted until his adulthood.

• His best friend was Victor, whom James was obsessively in love with, since he was the only one who understood his feelings.

• over time, due to the abuse and bullying, James became mentally unstable and suicidal, developing a compulsion for self-harm as a punishment. James doesn't see himself as a human being, so this has led him to neglect himself with terrible hygiene and lack of appetite. James stays in his bedroom all day.

• After becoming Vitor's boyfriend, James developed a strong emotional dependence and obsession with him, going so far as to stalk Vitor in his illegal work, recording his crimes, and keeping the footage as a form of being connected to him.

PURSUING HIS VIOLENCE

• Iva is a misanthrope by @necromania2010

Pursuing his Violence is a horror/romance story (it can probably be considered queer horror) of Vitor morato, a killer haunted by his murders and violent past who wants to protect and give his depressed boyfriend (and childhood best friend) James Moreira, a better life. Their shared gruesome life now seems to bring complications and conflicts in their lives, that can make both of them get worse mentally. James and Vitor are both emotionally dependent on each other, making the relationship unhealthy, but at the same time, Vitor and James can't be separated.

Unfortunately, there's not enough slides on Instagram to put characters'information in it, so I'll create a specific post just to share their information and backgrounds/backstories so the lore doesn't seem so off and empty.

BAND IN THE SAME BACKGROUND AS DIABOLUS BLEED DIVINE: Wampyr Suspirium was founded by Vincent when he was nineteen, inviting Alejandro as the drummer and later accepting Cassandra as the vocalist. Too many years before the creation, Apollo would be the vocalist who'd bring the gothic into the band, but before they created the band, Apollo was cut from their friendship. Vincent always had a fascination for vampirism, so the entire band theme was about it. When he survived the vampire attack at 20, he came to Venturie (the vampire attacker) a day later saying that he could help him find victims in order to turn Vincent into a vampire, Venturie said that turning someone into a vampire requires trust and Vincent was just a stranger to him, instead Vincent asks the vampire to bring his band fame and he'll keep bringing people to Venturie, and he did (Through hypnosis, the crowds were under its effects, thus attracting more and more fans.) Alejandro, Cassandra and Vincent became closer to the vampires and ended up forming an alliance with them by seeing that they're disappearing easily and being hunted by humans who believe in their existence. Until strange things happened – Cassandra saw a vampiress she was having an affair with, disappearing and never coming back, Vincent saw a vampire head from Venturie's coven in the woods, and Alejandro has seen a hurt vampire on the brink of death in a empty street as well before dying – after sharing their experiences Vincent is the one who decides to investigate deep (both because he became worried and because Venturie were pressuring him.)

Darcy Lake (New Character Design)

Darcy Lake is the drummer from Diabolus Bleed Divine. Problematic kid who ran from their abusive family. They try to bury the memory of a vampire attack happening in their front. Darcy never permanently stayed in a band until they met Apollo, where their life made them return to the world of vampires as a hunter.

BAND MEMBERS:
APOLLO (Lead Singer, pianist, violinist): Manipulative band founder. Apollo in his entire life was weak and cowardly (for various reasons, as his transness, morbid interests, queerness and appearance) , which made him usually be hurt by the othera. The entire trauma and dehumanization in his life made him hold onto more anger and hatred than sadness, taking all of that feeling out on himself. In the band, he sees himself as a leader, where he's singing about his traumas and events of his life as horror stories. He feels like he is in the power of his bandmates, everything he says they do. He wanted his bandmates to taste and take the vampire flesh because he wanted to share those powers with them for finding them special, wanting to feel powerful didn't erase his affection for them. When Vincent discovers what he did and recountered him, Apollo felt a mix of longing love and hatred for their now opposite sides.

HEITOR (Bassist): The band Co-founder. Heitor felt like an entire, different reborn person since he transitioned, the band was part of his change. He felt that reconnecting with Apollo and creating Diabolus Bleed Divine was a big conquest of his life, but deep down trying to ignore the feeling of guilt after killing his father as self defense. When Heitor started to hunt vampires and eat, this feeling of guilt came back to haunt him, he put the blame entirely on Apollo, but didn't stop eating it, the flesh powers became an addiction because of the aftermath of effects.

DARCY (Drummer): Darcy is still traumatized and terrified of their family. The physical and psychological abuse was ingrained in their skin and mind. The treatment given to them lead them to have low social skills, scared of people and the possibilities of being treated like they was, and loneliness as a consequence. When they eat the vampire flesh, they turn into a completely different person, they become anything that they repress from others – violent, angry and resentful. Apollo finds Darcy's hidden side fascinating, however destructive it may be, and encourages them to continue.

Apollo and Heitor met when they had a complicated life, being abandoned by each parent in a rehabilitation without their will, but with the common dream of having a musical or artistic career. They worked as friends but not as lovers, both were lonely and needy for company when they started a romantic relationship in the past, Heitor saw Apollo just as a comfort object to not make him feel lonely, ignoring his feelings and getting bored of him later, Apollo tried to idealize Heitor like a better version of Vincent, so neither of them actually loved each other. When Heitor cheated on Apollo countless times, Apollo ran away after they fought. None of them really wanted to leave after too many moments they shared. So after some months, Heitor showed up in Apollo's new house to annoy him and blame him for the cheating – a mask for at least filling the longing he felt for his friend – on the same day, Apollo kicked him out of the house without knowing that Heitor stole his diary. The next day he showed up again in Apollo's house, the entire discussion about Apollo's stolen diary led them to decide to create a band and apologize in a way. Apollo harbors resentment towards Heitor, even though he still deeply likes him (platonically, since both have accepted that they are not in love) Apollo begins to ruin every relationship he has, not because of jealousy, but because of a revenge for Heitor lack of empathy towards Apollo when he were in a vulnerable state. His resentment is more visible when Apollo is under the vampire's flesh effects.
