Joining the Necropolis Vol. III lineup

UK death metal occultists Grave Miasma, Ireland’s towering force Malthusian, and France’s morbid Sépulcre all join the Saturday programme at The Underworld, strengthening an already uncompromising bill led by Dead Congregation. Meanwhile, London’s Skumhammer joins the Friday programme at The Black Heart with their filthy black/death assault.

All 2-day tickets are now SOLD OUT.

Saturday tickets are already 55% SOLD.

A lot of people have been asking which bands are playing on which day, so here’s the current provisional split:

Our initial allocation of 2-Day Tickets via the Necropolis BigCartel has now sold out.

Due to demand, The Black Heart have released one final batch of 2-Day Tickets via Dice.

Once these are gone, we will be at capacity for the Friday event and no further 2-Day Tickets will be made available.

If you want to attend the full weekend, we recommend securing your ticket sooner rather than later.

Saturday-only tickets remain available via both BigCartel (recommended for lower fees) and Dice.

The next wave brings feral, boundary-pushing extremity from Concrete Winds, the caustic and introspective death metal of London’s Vacuous, the precise violence of Finland’s Malformed, and DET’s speed-infused black/death assault.

We are pleased to unveil the first three names for Necropolis Vol. III, taking place across 19–20 March 2027 at The Underworld and The Black Heart, Camden:

Emerging once again from the catacombs, Dead Congregation return to London for a rare appearance of total death metal supremacy. Joining them are Italy’s Fuoco Fatuo, bringing towering walls of sepulchral doom, alongside France’s Profanation — delivering skull-crushing violence in their first London appearance.

The gates of NECROPOLIS VOL. III will open once again across 19–20 March 2027, descending upon The Underworld & The Black Heart in Camden for a weekend of death metal darkness.

Early bird tickets will be released Tuesday 2nd June via the Necropolis BigCartel, alongside the first 3 names on the lineup — all international artists.

🪦£65 EARLY BIRD — 2 DAY TICKET

Includes:
• Entry to Friday night at The Black Heart
• Entry to the full Saturday main event at The Underworld

🪦VOL. III🪦

London’s most evil underground death metal gathering returns for its third installment in March 2027.

The festival descends upon The Underworld, Camden on Saturday 20th March 2027 for a full day of cavernous, ferocious and uncompromising death metal.

The darkness spreads across the entire weekend, with additional shows at The Black Heart — including a special Friday night pre-show and a late night bill on Saturday following the main event.

Expect a carefully curated lineup of international cult acts and rising forces from the extreme underground.

Hi all.

As we've been getting repeated requests from bands, agents and punters about the next edition of Necropolis, we thought it would be worth stating publicly that there are currently no plans to run the festival in 2025.

We will be back though, most likely the following year, in a somewhat different format/location. We will update you when the time is right.

The dust has slowly started to settle on what was all in all, a very successful Vol.II. It was a much more challenging event to pull off than the first volume, but seeing everyone’s enthusiasm, energy and passion on the day made up for it.

A massive thanks to all the bands who delivered absolutely crushing sets over the weekend and for their trust in working with us. Thanks to New Cross Inn and The Black Heart for hosting. Special thanks to Cam and Lois for handling tech duties and logistics on the day. And finally to all of you who were in attendance and once again created an overwhelmingly positive atmosphere.

Necropolis will now be entering a deathlike silence for an extended and indefinite amount of time. We’ll return only if and when the time is right.
