Waarom?????😂 by @nedasleven

There’s something about running in the rain…
everything feels quieter, lighter, and somehow more real. 🌧️🏃‍♀️
Just me, the road, and the reminder that I’m stronger than I used to be. by @nedasleven

Sometimes you surprise yourself with how strong you’re becoming… 🥹💪🏻

This is the same 20 kg barbell I couldn’t lift overhead on day one. And now… look at me. 🥹

You don’t always notice the progress while it’s happening. Then one day, you do something you once couldn’t, and realise how far you’ve come.

Keep showing up. Give yourself time to see what you’re capable of. ❤️ by @nedasleven

Two days of rest after race day… and today, we start again.

The next challenge is already waiting — harder than the last one, and I have four months to get ready for it.

But today already gave me something to celebrate:
for the first time, I ran 3K nonstop at a pace that felt right for me. 🏃🏻‍♀️✨

A few months ago, even this felt far away.
Now it’s just another little milestone on the way to something bigger.

New training block. New goals. Four months. Let’s work. 🔥

I’m still replaying that finish-line moment in my head… 🥹🏁

The adrenaline. My racing heart. And the moments when a voice in my head whispered, “You’re tired. You can’t keep going.”
I was tired. But every time, I told myself, “Just a little further…” and kept moving.

This was my first race. Our goal was to finish in an hour and a half.
We crossed the finish line together in 1:09:50! 🔥

Then we looked at each other and said:
“We actually did it!” 🥹❤️

I could still feel every bit of exhaustion, but I couldn’t stop smiling. We’d kept going, supported each other, and made it to the finish.

That feeling. That moment. Worth every bit of the effort. ❤️

Four months ago, my life looked very different. I was trying to lose weight, feeling stuck, and wondering why nothing seemed to change.
Then I made a promise to myself—and began keeping it, one day at a time.
I’ve lost weight since then, and that journey continues. Along the way, I’ve found things I wasn’t even looking for: the courage to be a beginner, the patience to keep showing up, and the joy of discovering that I can do more than I thought.
The number on the scale matters less to me now. What means so much more is becoming the woman I’ve wanted to be for years. Someone who trusts herself because she knows she can count on herself.
Today, all my race gear is laid out, but the most precious thing I’m bringing to that starting line is this new belief in myself.
To my dear friend, coach, and race partner @lifeofsimaa : thank you for showing me the way and walking it with me. Thank you for every lesson, every bit of encouragement, and for believing in me while I was still learning how. Today, I hope you’ll see how much of what you’ve taught me I carry with me. 🤍
Whatever time we cross the finish line, I want to remember that I showed up, gave my best, and kept the promise that brought me here.
This race means so much to me. It’s the beginning of finding out what else I’m capable of.

Four months ago, I was wishing things would change.
Today, I’m standing at the start of something I once couldn’t imagine. 🏁❤️

Maybe growth is simply becoming more yourself. 🤍

Choosing what feels right for you. Trying new things. Letting go of what no longer fits.

Not perfect. Not finished. Just a little more you every day. ✨

My first time judging at HYROX Maastricht, and what an experience. 🖤

HYROX feels so alive, whether you’re racing or standing beside the course. I met people with incredible stories, learned so much from them, and found myself cheering for athletes I’d only just met.

The most unique part was feeling every struggle and every finish with them, while still having the responsibility to apply the rules fairly. I left with a full heart and a whole new appreciation for everyone who makes this event happen.

Thank you for an unforgettable first experience, @hyroxbenelux . See you again! 🔥 by @nedasleven

Less than two weeks until race day—and it’s starting to feel very real. 🔥
This time, we completed a 50% GymRace simulation using the full race weights:

🏃‍♀️ 5 × 500 m Runs
🛷 25 m Sled Push — 100 kg
🏐 50 Wall Balls — 4 kg
💪 50 m Slam Ball Carry — 20 kg
🚣‍♀️ 500 m Row
🏋️‍♀️ 50 Kettlebell Swings to Overhead — 12 kg
🎿 500 m SkiErg
🦵 50 m Dumbbell Farmer’s Lunges — 2 × 5 kg
🚴‍♀️ 1,000 m BikeErg
🔥 25 m Burpee Broad Jumps
⚡ 25 m Final Sprint

Every simulation teaches us something. Every hard session makes us more prepared. Now it’s time to trust the training, sharpen the details, and keep pushing until we reach that start line.
October 4th—we’re coming for you. ❤️‍🔥

Trust the process—every run is proof that you’re getting stronger. 🏃🏻‍♀️🔥

Today, I finally reached 5K in my training plan! With the warm-up, cool-down, and recovery runs, it was 8K in total, but the main focus was the 5K—and I managed to run all five kilometres comfortably. Even better, I finally nailed the negative split, making every kilometre faster than the one before! 🥹💪🏼

Not long to go until race day on October 4th. I’m getting closer and stronger every day! 🏁✨

Strength isn’t about being perfect every day.
It’s about showing up, doing what you can, and staying consistent.
Just keep going—the results will follow. 💪
