This is one of my cross body bags which I designed, cut out all the pieces of fabric and which I then sewed together. It contains 17 individual pieces of fabric, 3 pieces of hardware and a woven label so takes many hours to create, and was made to outlast cheap imports.

At the beginning of the year I set a goal to reach my 5,000th Etsy sale. Well I'm not there yet but I only have 50 sales to go and 2½ months of the year remaining.

I've been keeping my store full of a nice variety of items so fingers crossed people find my store and like what I make.

Many years ago I bought some souvenir tea towels with the intention to make aprons from them, but that never happened, so today I turned a couple into a jumbo pouch. This size pouch is perfect to use as a cosmetic bag, a travel pouch, an emergency nappy change bag, for first aid items, hospital bag etc.

This is a one-of-a-kind item which is now available in my Madeit store, link in my bio.

Here is my next project, six jumbo pouches all cut out and ready to put together. I went looking through a box of fabrics I hadn't opened for ages and found some lovely, bright cotton canvas and some souvenir tea towels I bought for a project many years ago so have added some to my new "to make" pile.

Over the past 3 days I've been busy making fabric coasters. They make cute and inexpensive little gifts and souvenirs and come in a range of fabrics and themes.
