Happy 40th Birthday to my oldest!!
You arrived past your due date and you’ve been fashionably late for everything since! But the joke was on me that day, because your actual delivery was incredibly fast. I’ll never forget being in that room with Auntie Gina, focusing on your quick arrival while the medical staff had their eyes glued to the TV. The New York Mets were battling the Astros in a legendary 16-inning game! You entered the world right alongside baseball history, and
four decades later, you are the absolute definition of a sports mom to Joey, Tommy and Hattie. You still live and breathe the game of baseball (football, basketball, lacrosse, swimming and now volleyball too), except now your absolute favorite baseball player to cheer for is our own Tommy Duff!
Growing up together with you has been the greatest ride of my life, full of so much joy. I am so incredibly proud of the woman and mother you are. Welcome to your next era! I love you to the moon and back! by @nee_kaz

And just like that… my baby left for college. 🥹
For 40 years, there has always been a child in our house. 40 years of little footsteps, late nights, messy rooms, sports, laughter, arguments, celebrations, and a whole lot of love. And now, for the first time in 40 years, I’m getting ready to have an empty nest.
Casey, watching you grow into the person you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you or more excited for everything that is waiting for you at college. Go chase your dreams, make memories, meet new people, and enjoy every second of this next chapter. 💜
But if I’m being completely honest… I’m going to miss you more than words can say. This house is going to feel a whole lot quieter without you in it.
I’ve spent 40 years being “Mom” every minute of every day, and while I know I’ll always be your mom, I’m learning how to let go just a little.
Spread your wings. We’ll be right here cheering you on, loving you from home, and waiting for every visit, phone call, and story.
My youngest is leaving the nest… and my heart is bursting with pride and breaking a little at the same time.
40 years of kids at home and a lifetime of memories to carry with me.

Baby girl is done with dorm life and is home after finishing her 2nd year at Marquette! To say that I am proud of her growth and success these first two years would be an understatement!! Keep chasing your dreams…..the sky is the limit and know that you are making the world a better place!! Can’t wait to spend the summer with you Sophie Clare!! Let the shenanigans begin!!

From his last day of preschool to driving himself to his last day of high school……somehow all the years between went by in the blink of an eye. The scraped knees, early mornings, sports, friendships, laughter, lessons, proud moments, hard moments, and all the little memories that made up his childhood led us here. Watching you grow has been the greatest privilege of my life, and while my heart aches knowing this chapter is ending, I couldn’t be prouder of the man you are becoming. by @nee_kaz

Senior prom… and just like that, my last baby is closing out another chapter. Watching him get ready tonight, surrounded by amazing friends and so much laughter, filled my heart more than I can put into words.
I’ve watched him grow into someone I’m incredibly proud of—kind, strong, and full of life. Nights like this remind me how fast it all goes, but also how beautiful every moment has been. by @nee_kaz
