Hi, I’m Gloria 🪻🫐🧸🌅🧺

I’m the owner of Needle X Stitch Co., where I make cozy, handmade pieces from my little studio in SW Idaho!

A few things about me & nxsco:

• Started this in 2022 with zero clue what I was doing • Left my 8–5 and never looked back (ok ok maybe once last year… I’m human ok)
• I recently launched my embroidery services where I embroider live so you can create something that’s actually yours • I will rethread my machine 12 times before I’m satisfied • My toxic trait is thinking I can finish “just one more order or chapter” at 11pm
• My favorite books are Little Women + Project Hail Mary (before it was the moment it is now) • I’m the youngest of seven (five girls + have one guardian angel brother)
• Hanging out with my nieces is my favorite thing in the world  • It takes me a solid 48 hours to process a compliment and text back  • I’ll never say no to a spicy dr. pepper, matcha, chai, a hat, or sour candy • Recently obsessed with pilates, my new friendships, and baking sourdough
• I love watching baseball, fresh bouquets of flowers, and taking photos of sunrises & sunsets (I like to think my brother paints the prettiest ones when I need him most)

 and yes… I will be bringing my embroidery and sewing machine with me everywhere now. So local gals, stay tuned for my market schedule this season 📋

EP. 02 🍂✂️ cutting day.

The original 37 fabrics have been narrowed down (for now 👀) and we officially have a lineup taking shape.

So far we’ve got fabric for tote bags, Kindle + book sleeves, zippered Kindle, penny, pixie and everyday pouches. 🧵

If you’re thinking about starting something, do it. Even if you’re a little embarrassed at first.

Trust me, five years ago I never imagined I’d be talking about sewing online, packing orders, traveling to events, or calling this my job. Back then, sewing wasn’t exactly considered cool. It was just something I loved.

Now it’s become one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I get to create with my hands, meet incredible people, and build a business around something that once felt like a small, quiet hobby.

So if there’s something you want to try, start it. Even if it feels silly. Even if no one gets it yet. The silly embarrassment you feel, will go away.

One day it might just become the thing you’re most proud of. 🫶🏽

🌸 Garden Party Recap 🌸

What a beautiful way to kick off summer! I’m still smiling thinking about all the incredible women who came together for an evening filled with connection, laughter, and community.

One of my greatest passions is creating unique spaces where women can step away from their busy schedules, meet new friends, share their stories, and feel genuinely encouraged and supported. Seeing so many amazing women gathered in one place, building relationships and cheering each other on, was everything I hoped this event would be and more.

Thank you to every single person who attended, supported, and helped make this evening so special. Your presence is what made the magic happen, and I’m so grateful for each of you.

This is exactly why I love bringing women together—because when women support women, incredible things happen. 💐

Happy Mother’s Day 🌷🤍✨

Yesterday, we had the sweetest morning hosting @theboisepilatesclub on the hill.

There was something so special about seeing moms and daughters moving together, enjoying the sunshine, and spending intentional time with one another.

We also had the opportunity to launch the very first wellness event for @theaudrey.mobilebaridaho, where we served what quickly became the crowd favorite of the day - our strawberry matcha. 🍓🍵

We love creating space for events that bring people together and celebrate the things that matter most - health, love, and community.

We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us and helped make the morning feel so meaningful.

one hurts for a second…
the other slowly chips away at my sanity for a solid hour 😂

the not-so-aesthetic side of running an embroidery business

it’s rethreading, tension checks, tiny breakdowns, and a lot of “please just work” prayers under my breath

but this is also part of the process
would I like to skip this part? yes
would I trade it? still undecided

okay but be honest…
what are you choosing:
A) stubbed toe
B) 15 needle & thread change
