New music out Friday, here’s some things I’ve been up to.

1. Purple belt 1 stripe with my good friend and training partner @tivanmercuri.exe
2. Playing at one of my favourite venues @pawnandco
3. First time at @eatthebeatmelbourne which absolutely blew my expectations of how good a club night can be.
4. Being a gym rat 🐀 💪
5. The first time I played out my next single ‘Back Once Again’ and realising it was something special by the crowd reaction.
6. Some light reading
7. New press pics with @team7.au
8. Setting up a new space with @arkticaustralia
9. If it’s hard to do, it’s worth doing and has value.

So, so cool to see Empty Room climbing the @aria_official chart.

Starting my own label this year was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Complete freedom over what I want to release, when I want to release it, and how I want to promote it.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported the label and the music so far. I’ll keep putting out good music as long as you’re all listening.

(I’d still release it anyway 😂)

And thanks to @budha_ent for the extra gigs to test out all the new music! by @needsnosleep_

Doing things for yourself is great, but giving back to your community and helping others is even better.

Whether it’s music or martial arts, there were always people who helped me when I was a beginner. People who gave me their time, shared advice and passed on lessons they’d learned through years of experience.

As you become more experienced yourself, I believe there’s a moral imperative to do the same for others. Knowledge shouldn’t stop with you.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2

If you know me personally, you’ll know I’m always happy to do what I can to help others and pass on what I’ve learned. That’s part of what being in a community is all about.

And there’s something powerful about helping others. It’s hard to stay caught up in your own problems when you have a responsibility to show up for the people around you.

Ask not what your community can do for you, but what you can do for your community.

Love my communities in both music and martial arts. ❤️ by @needsnosleep_

Wicked DJ & radio support on ‘Empty Room’ so far! 🙌

Starting my own label this year was a brilliant move. I’ve had so much fun carefully selecting which tracks to release and putting everything I’ve got into promoting them.

The Vocal Mix of ‘Empty Room’ is out at midnight. If you’re enjoying the music, show some support 😊🙌 by @needsnosleep_
