Going through photos and realized I did not have a picture of my mom and dad together since they first got married.

I was getting married and they came together to support me in my day. This is the only picture I have of my parents together since they divorced when I was twelve years old.
My marriage did not last but I have no regrets. My ex and I have two beautiful children from the union and I became the person I am now today, keeping things afloat when it seemed there was no one else to share the load.
My parents have both passed on and I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have them physically still here to be in their children’s and grandchildren’s lives. I can still look at this picture, smile and smile back at the smiling faces in the photo. ❤️ by @neen1938

Sunday at the beach before Labor Day. It was so hot but the clouds were brewing in the distance for an approaching storm somewhere. Beautiful and relaxing day.😍😌 taken in Fort Macon State Park by @neen1938
