Let’s make Friday a day to show your pets off 🐶🐈🐈‍⬛🩶

The first picture is uncommon because Phx and Bizzy never hang out haha

When I’m not reading I’m hanging w these friends

Madi and I are always laughing when around Bizzy and Future because they’re so so silly together

My current Libby holds!

Almost all of them are audiobooks and I have a couple Minnesota authors and a few different genres

Thank Goodness for the libraries! I couldn’t afford the amount of books I’ve checked out and borrowed through physical and Libby!

Willow turns 13 this week!!

Don’t worry all the animals got a treat and a few new toys haha

She said her favorite book right now is “A Good Person” by Kristen King, she said the ending was “chefs kiss”

Everyone say Happy Birthday Willow or your next read will be a dnf and less than two stars hehe

Here’s a picture of my mama and I when I was 14

Today is her birthday!! Everyone say Happy Birthday Lynn!!! 🥳

Leave her some book recommendations in the comments, she likes fictions, Kristin Hannah vibes, not religious, historical fictionish, maybe a good memoir?

Bookish Finds at @patinastores !

I can’t tell if it was the no money or the self control, but we did not buy any of them. Thought about it, carried them around, and left with just a bday gift for my mama. Progress?

@homegoods Bookish and Cat finds

Madi and I have a bunch of cat pictures in the library, one including Meowna Lisa (just made that name up rn) but we will need to go back and get this gem

The book items were not nearly as cute as usual :(

ALSO please tell me why it’s October 9 and Halloween is on clearance and half the store is Christmas?!

This is the kindest thing ever @exploreminnesota !!!

Excuse the Illinois State shirt, truly didn’t realize until half way through 😂😂 (and the 1.8 speed adjustment since I talk so slow)

Minnesota truly is the greatest state, if you don’t agree, Come visit and I guarantee you won’t be left thinking another state is better!

Also one cool thing to EXPLORE IN MINNESOTA besides the lakes is the independent book stores including some of my favs…@irrevbooks @blackgarnetbooks @nextchapterbooksellers @birchbark_books @magersandquinn @valleybookseller @moonpalacebooks @bighillbooks @milkweed_books (and tons and tons more)

Books I would buy if we were not on a buying ban!!

I looked at that Bloomtown copy for days and thought about it but couldn’t fathom spending more than $35 for a book but it was jaw droppingly BEAUTIFUL!!!!

The signed and special editions will always get me. Like already have a copy of Theo of Golden but that one is so much cooler and if you donate the other copy it’s pretty much worth buying ofc

Also I feel like I’d go to @nadiacakescupcakes and buy the signed Abby Jimenez book and get CUPCAKES heheh

Caption update: After further research and education, I no longer have “We should all be feminists” on my YES list. It is easily a know now that I NO now.. the authors feminism is excluding trans people and supports JKR. I am thankful for people who educate and kindly redirect, I would have had no clue!!!

Yes, No and Maybe with my September Reads!!!

This was a slower reading month for me compared to the rest of the year, but I still had a solid month

The graphic novels were ebooks and the rest were audiobooks!

Thanks @libby.app and all my libraries for the access to all the books

We have over 3,000 books in our home but right now with the state of our library, I am using Libby all the time. The library will be sorted, scanned and shelved in DUE TIME.
