"The New England Flying disc Association (NEFA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and development of the sport of disc golf in New England and parts of New York and New Jersey. At NEFA we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the disc golf community of the northeast while giving back to our members. We believe in spreading awareness of courses, leagues, events and all things disc golf. By raising funds through memberships, we are able to assist with building courses, supporting the growth of youth programs, and giving back to the membership through a season-long NEFA Point Series and New England Disc Golf Championships every fall!"

We are excited to announce that the Circle 1 Flex Series (Presented By MVP) is now apart of the NEFA Point Series. In addition to the series being sanctioned as a PDGA C-Tier, you can now earn towards the NEFA Point Series and qualify for the New England Disc Golf Championships.

While you’re able to compete in the C1 Flex Series without being a NEFA or PDGA member, adding these additional layers further supports those that are seeking new ways to measure their growth within disc golf. In order to qualify for the New England Disc Golf Championships, players must become members of NEFA and play in, at least, three sanctioned NEFA events in their respective divisions throughout the year. If you’d like to learn more about NEFA, check out more info at www.nefa.com

For those not interested, this will not change anything for you throughout the C1 Flex Series.

Next Friday (5/24) the C1 Flex Series - Burnsboro will be the first NEFA sanctioned event of the series.

Shoutout to @dogpounddiscs, all of our players, and course owners for supporting our events! by @nefa_dg
