Planting seeds. 🌱

Last week, I had the opportunity to bring Neff Level into the classroom at Palm Beach Lakes High School for a workshop on goal setting and time management with 40 young ladies.

So much of the work I do is centered around taking a vision, creating a plan, and turning that plan into action. Being able to take those same principles and make them practical for the next generation was special.

We talked SMART goals, actionable steps, managing our time and, most importantly, being intentional about what we want and how we plan to get there.

Thank you to the Q&A Foundation Inc for the opportunity to pour into these young ladies and plant a few seeds along the way.

Walking out of October and into 32 feeling sooooo good. This season feels lighter, not because life’s been easy, but because I’ve learned how to carry it differently. I’ve been doing the internal work, letting go of what I can’t control, and remembering to live while I grow.

Here’s to being more present, allowing myself to exhale, and enjoying the life I’ve prayed for in real time.

Reset. Refresh. 32 & Renewed.

Entering my thirties, my mindset was simple: if you want different, you have to do different. I ran with that and it’s been worth it. Grateful for chapter 31, ready for chapter 32.

For a long time, I felt like I was holding my breath, but now I can finally exhale. I call myself a recovering perfectionist because I spent years chasing standards, carrying expectations, and showing up for everyone but myself. I let the grind wear me down until I realized peace was something I had to choose.

Now, I’ve given myself permission to be present in a way I never have before—to just be and truly feel the moments. I’ve found a softer version of myself—one that embraces peace, rest, and grace.

My spirit said rest, release, and rise.
32 feels like freedom. Vibrating higher, attracting softer, receiving more.

I’m evolving. I’m stronger, wiser, better. I feel light. I feel good. I feel grateful.

They say you have two lives, and the second begins when you realize you only have one.

Working in the sports and events space, everything moves quickly. I often find myself finishing one project and immediately jumping into the next, with little time to pause, reflect, or truly take it all in because the work doesn’t stop.

But I’m learning the importance of slowing down, even briefly, to acknowledge how far I’ve come. Otherwise, it starts to feel like a never-ending race. I’m naturally driven by results, but that can be a double-edged sword. As soon as I reach one milestone, I’m already focused on the next, and that mindset can rob you of the joy in the journey.

I still believe in working hard, but I’ve been reminding myself to also take it in. I can’t forget that I once prayed for the very things I’m experiencing now. Don’t let the hustle make you miss the fact that you’re living in the middle of an answered prayer.

First WNBA All-Star experience in the books. Second visit to Indy (no snow this time lol). Another successful round of events and activations for AAU.

In honor of National Black Women in Sports Day, sharing a throwback to my first Final Four experience.

With WNBA All-Star just a week away, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful I am for the people I’ve met, the events I’ve helped bring to life, and the doors that have opened through this journey.

Working in sports isn’t always glamorous. It can be a thankless grind. But it’s also been deeply rewarding in ways I never expected. I love what I do, and I’m proud to be a part of this industry.

This week has been rough. I haven’t felt strong, my workouts took longer than usual, and I’ve just felt somber… but I showed up anyway.

Even when it hurts. Even when it’s hard. I’m learning to celebrate that version of me too… the one who keeps going. I’m thankful to God for the strength to keep showing up!

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. - Psalm 73:26
