Faith it until you make it!

There’s a popular saying in our culture: “Fake it until you make it.”

The idea is to act confident or capable even when you don’t feel that way, trusting that eventually you’ll grow into those skills and qualities.

But I believe in a God who doesn’t call us to fake it—He calls us to faith it.

You may be in a season where everything you see seems contrary to what God has promised. Your circumstances may not look like the promise. Your situation may not feel like the promise. But faith keeps walking even when you can’t see how God is working.

Walk in faith, trusting that God is already at work behind the scenes. Continue in obedience. Keep moving forward. Keep trusting His Word.

Peter WALKED on water!

We really give Peter a bad rap for all the spontaneous shenanigans he found himself in, but one thing I’ve always admired about him is that he was willing to go all the way in following Jesus—even at the risk of failing.

Sure, Peter had his moments. He stumbled, doubted, and made mistakes. But while the other disciples were watching from the boat, Peter was willing to step out of it.

He may have started sinking, but let’s not forget—Peter walked on water!

Sometimes faith isn’t about getting every step right. Sometimes it’s simply having the courage to get out of the boat.

Go walk on water! Celebrate the small wins!

Big decision. Best decision! 🙌🏽

Today, I had the privilege of doing something truly special.

Several months ago, our daughters approached us and shared their desire to be baptized. We’ve raised them in the faith, but we’ve always wanted to give God room to work in their hearts and allow them to make their own decision to follow Him.

God has been faithful to our prayers.

Today, I had the incredible privilege and honor of baptizing both Bethany and Olivia. As their parents, we couldn’t be more proud of their decision, and I’m excited to watch their faith, commitment, and relationship with Christ continue to grow.

May the Lord continue to guide them, cover them, and keep them throughout this journey of life.

Shoutout to Pastor Jerry for allowing me to serve in baptisms today and allowing me the opportunity to baptize my daughters!

New life. New chapter. Same faithful God.

We don’t know how she does it, but somehow she can take on all seven of her grandchildren and make it look like light work! 😂🙌🏽

What an amazing weekend at the Church of God New England Hispanic Regional Men’s Retreat!

Shout out to my brother for putting together another incredible conference for the ministers of New England. Your hard work and heart for ministry do not go unnoticed! @mr.gabee

Shout out to the guys from Worcester IDD—you guys always throw it down in the kitchen and make sure a brother is taken care of!

Shout out to Pastor Paco Garcia for bringing a challenging and timely word all weekend. Thank you for shifting our perspective and shining a light on what the mission is really about: the people!

Men, let’s step up and step into the calling, purpose, and responsibility God has placed on our lives!

What an amazing and powerful time with my brothers and sisters from KBC! You guys are truly family, and I’m grateful for every opportunity we get to worship and fellowship together!

It was also incredibly special to have my dad with me on this preaching assignment.

Shoutout to Brother Emilio for the invitation and for the start of a new friendship! I’m grateful for you, brother!

Church, we were never meant to walk this journey alone.

The right community is essential in cultivating a healthy faith and a deeper relationship with God.

Interestingly, in Psalm 23, the Lord is described as our Shepherd—which makes us His sheep. Sheep are highly social animals. When separated from the flock, they experience significant distress. A lone sheep will often pace, cry out, and become increasingly agitated. Simply being in the presence of the flock brings them peace and security.

There is a powerful spiritual lesson in that. God designed us to live in community—with Him and with one another. The enemy often uses isolation as a tactic to discourage, weaken, and divide us.

Beware of the isolation game that the devil likes to play. Stay connected. Stay planted. There is peace, strength, and protection in the flock.
