What We Believe with our Founder James Barnett by @neighborlyorg

What’s our emblem all about, you ask? We believe that, as Christians, we ought to be windows through which others can observe the coming new creation—a world reconciled to God through Jesus and his Spirit empowered followers. We believe that this is accomplished across difference; standing shoulder to shoulder with our "other." This is part of what made the first century church so radical. Together, we, being made in the image of the dust animating Creator, look at the chaos and disorder around us and cultivate beauty, order, and goodness according to the Creator's definition of good. A definition in which human suffering doesn’t exist. We cherish all who are partnering with us to make another world possible. 🎉 by @neighborlyorg

Jesus’ first miracle was keeping a party going. We’re taking notes. 🍻

Seventeen years ago, our founder quit a lucrative job and chose to live intentionally homeless to draw near to human suffering, today our mission is to help you do the same. Not the homeless part. Just the drawing near to suffering part. 🤪

Come celebrate with us at The Good Pour, Neighborly’s 17th anniversary party. 100% of tips go to our work against poverty. So tip like the Kingdom is near.

We're heading back to Guatemala and need your help! This Fall we are taking a vision trip to explore the possibility of returning to this beloved country for long-term partnership to support community leaders there. Who should we be meeting with to learn how God is at work? by @neighborlyorg

Homeless folks often have to choose between food and work because meal assistance doesn’t get served until after they’ve clocked in.

Enter the Breakfast Brigade. Every Tuesday morning, we wake up in solidarity, show up at day labor locations, and serve up a simple and dignified meal for people who are the aching backbone of the city. And we need your help to pull it off. Join us on Tuesdays. You have everything to gain, and only sleep to lose. #neighborly taken in Tallahassee, Florida by @neighborlyorg

Who is on our Great Wall of Heroes? For all of 2026, a group of people from around the country chose to sacrifice their hard-earned dollars to ensure a single-mother and her two young children were able to live indoors. Call them donors. Call them humanitarians. We call them heroes. We get to see the impact they are making on three human lives every single day. One who just started school for the first time in her life. One learning how to speak. And one powerhouse of a mother who is moving heaven and earth to provide for her family against all odds. Cheers to our heroes for being #neighborly. by @neighborlyorg
