Happy 1 year of Neighbors! What better way to celebrate than by honoring the people who inspired it all.

Our why? To reflect the heart of the @livingroominternational. This hospital and the people of Kenya are the very reason we exist today—and why 200 young adults gather monthly in Newport Beach on the other side of the world.

Founded by @juliboit, the Living Room models a community of compassion that honors life and offers hope. What we witnessed there inspired us to bring their sacrificial love for God and their neighbors back to our hometown. Whether bringing earthly healing or eternal healing, this hospital embodies what the church is called to be.

Our friends in Kenya showed us what it looks like to wholeheartedly love God, love our neighbors as ourselves, give sacrificially, and live presently with the people around us. Sometimes it’s so easy to go through all the motions and to forget the greatest commandment of all: To Love God and to Love our Neighbors.

Thank you Kenya for showing us what a neighborhood looks like. See you soon. <3 by @neighborsnb
