https://on.soundcloud.com/6NqDfj4Vv00bFrunpe Still buzzing from @kelburnparties. What a beautiful time was had. Thanks @chrisastrojazz for having me. Good to be back 😎 I haven’t been since 2019, and it was SO GOOD to walk in and find all those familiar faces still there. So much love being beamed around! ⚡️💗⚡️ Great to be part of it once again. I want to thank everyone who made the effort to climb the Glen paths all the way to the Beech Plateau to show up for my set. I was really moved by how many of you guys turned up. Huge appreciation!! I was a little concerned about that but the crowd were there and the weather don’t matter! Thanks to @lezzerquest for building the energy before me. 🙌😎 I had so much fun playing up there. I wanted to put together a set that took the crowd on a journey thru genres just like the raves used to be when we were all raving under one roof in the early 90’s. What came together was a set that was an absolute delight to play for you guys. So many people asked if it was recorded, I had to do a studio version. So go check my soundcloud page if you’re interested- https://on.soundcloud.com/TLgvtocntJMyraoD9s by @neiltemplardj

@ravemakesglasgow and I are excited to announce the final guest artist who’ll be gracing the turntables @peoples.leisure.club on the 25th April None other than @yourearsaremouthstoo NIKKI KENT 🙌🙌🙌 If you’re from Edinburgh you’ll know all about Nikki, but for those of you yet unfamiliar, here’s what someone else said about her - Edinburgh legend Nikki Kent is a DJ with over twelve years of experience. Booked-and-blessed, with a genre-defying library of eclectic musical selections, Nikki has a well earned reputation for energetic mixing, and a real hand for party starting sounds - the melters, the belters and the big ol’ heart felters ;) It’s all true! 🤩 Nikki’s persona is infectious and playful and that energy spills right out into the crowd when she’s behind the decks. Delighted to have you on board Nikki. Set times on the day- 5pm - DJ THORNBACK 6pm - NEIL TEMPLAR 7pm - NIKKI KENT 8-10pm - TOKYO ACID CRU (live set) Who’s up for a DAY RAVE??? 🙌🫠🔥 by @neiltemplardj

Greetings humans!!! The time of the New Moon is upon you. A chance for the inhabitants of the middle realm to know, for a short while, the darkness of the Underworld. And so it seems fitting to introduce the second of our incoming masters of ceremony, one who relishes the darkness. Duellist is a Scottish, Edinburgh-based industrial techno project built around tension, repetition and emotional weight merging Birmingham rooted techno influence with corroded textures, collapsing atmospheres and relentless rhythmic force. Emerging from Scotland’s underground electronic landscape, the project focuses on physical impact as much as psychological tension, exploring the darker edges of warehouse techno through stripped back intensity, machine pressure and immersive sound design. Alongside being a label partner of OMEN Recordings with AXKAN, Duellist has developed a sound defined by oppressive ambience, distorted percussion and hypnotic movement balancing raw functionality with a sense of decay and unease. Releases have appeared on labels including Repitch Recordings, Scuderia, Instruments of Discipline and X-IMG among others, alongside collaborations and remix work involving Orphx, Statiqbloom, AXKAN and The Horrorist. Beyond the studio, Duellist has performed across Europe, Asia and North America, delivering sets shaped by industrial tension, hypnotic progression and heavyweight low-end energy. Moving between punishing rhythmic structures and slower-burning atmospheric passages, the project remains rooted in late night warehouse functionality and emotionally charged intensity. Across productions and DJ sets alike, Duellist continues to pursue a sound that feels damaged, immersive and uncompromising techno driven by pressure, isolation and controlled collapsing. YAS!!! Join us in the Underworld @peoples.leisure.club for a dance in the darkness. DAE it!!! Greetings humans! Our excitement builds in anticipation of the 3rd portal opening. Let us introduce to you the first of our ceremony leaders… Hailing from the West, Scott McKay, better known as Fear-E, is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer specialising in making raw, high-energy techno, electro and house. Shaped by the foundational sounds of Chicago, Detroit and the UK underground, his music channels the intensity and spirit of classic dance floors while pushing a fresh, modern edge. He also specialises in making rave and hardcore music, taking heavy influence from the 90s UK rave scene and its uncompromising energy. A longstanding figure in Scotland’s club scene, he’s played widely across the UK and continues to bring his sound to international stages. His sets are known for their driving energy and direct, floor-focused style. As a producer, he’s released on respected labels including Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Dark Entries, Super Rhythm Trax and Dame-Music, while running his own imprints Posh End Music and Breakbeat Energy. His work has gained support from BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and Rinse FM, as well as artists like Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Marcel Dettmann and Leftfield, to name a few. Rooted in club culture and driven by authenticity, Fear-E continues to push a sound built for impact. YES YES!!! We can’t wait for this one! GREETINGS dear humans! As promised, we return. On Nov 21st, our 3rd portal opens into a new realm for us! While Uranus nears its closest passage to the Earth, eager to catch some of our freaky frequencies. Known as the Great Awakener, it stirs the urge to break free from the status quo, rerouting neural pathways and exciting the body’s electrical impulses. You may feel a sudden drive to move, breathe deeply and arrange your limbs rhythmically. And for this purpose, we provide the sanctuary you need, where leisure is found in frequencies beyond sound. @peoples.leisure.club We summon not one but two titans of the Scottish underground, to command the ceremony as we dance into the new cycle… From the East and from the West Duellist & Fear-E! @duellistuk @scott_fear_e Two heavyweights. One dance. Infinite cosmic noise. Ground support as always comes in the form of our trusty human counterparts, the triquetra that is DAE @djthornback @neiltemplardj Shelve Life Let the mundane wither, as we create new worlds. We are Thee and Thee are We! Step into our realm. Secure your passage to the New. DAE it, and be rewarded... Well well well dear humans! It’s been almost a week since our 2nd portal of celebration opened. It’s taken us this long to calm ourselves down enough to be able to communicate our gratitude effectively! Once again you lovely lot, you did not disappoint! You turned up, tuned in, and you danced like your lives depended on it. BRAVO!!! We are utterly delighted with your response to our call. From the first minute the energy in the space was elevated, the dance floor alive with movement and mischief. ⚡️😀⚡️ So much laughter and excitement, and the HEAT! 🔥🔥🔥 Wowzers!! Your fun frenzy took the temperature to insanity levels and we loved every second of it! This group of humans is now recognised by many in our realm. There is a dedication to the party that mirrors our own love of mischief and merriment and it has not gone unnoticed! Thank you one and all for sharing your joy with us.💚 We also wish to acknowledge and thank the guest dj who added his particular frequency to the night. @angelnegrin has a specific sound that is different and yet complimentary to our regular crew. And he hit us with it, big style! This is in perfect alignment with the core sentiment of our mission here- A celebration of Otherness. We delight in the unexpected and unusual. There is nothing more dull to us than constant repetition. So… Smash those genres! Splice them together, and leave any expectations at the door. Let the mundane wither, while we create new worlds! Grateful acknowledgment also to our human counterparts- Shelve Life @djthornback @neiltemplardj Shelve Life and Thornback surprised us with their B2B (side by side😜) antics. A superbly crafted co-creation that took us on a journey and a half. These two are shining bright and we expect to see them soar in time! More of that magic please!🙏 Neil Templar closed the proceedings with a swift selection spanning 3+ decades of rave obsessed musicality. What a treat! We can’t wait to unleash what we have in store for you next, but you’ll have to wait until November for that. The excitement builds… Watch this space for the blue haired face. DAE it!! by @neiltemplardj

DAE(2) was ACE FUN!! I have a lot to say, but not today. 🥱 For now, here’s a few moments and scenes from Friday night’s fun-fest. Huge love and thanks to all the dancers. You guys kept the vibes high from the very start, once again. 🙌😎 Also to the staff @thesafarilounge, always a pleasure folks 🖖 And of course my co-conspirators in this mission- @djthornback Shelve Life And of course our guest @angelnegrin 💚🙌 Top shelf selections from everyone, covering so much ground, sonically speaking. Outstanding! … And not forgetting Daedelus and The Others @dae_freaktechno. Rave enthusiasts from the Otherworld, assisting in anchoring and keeping the portal stable, modulating elemental frequencies to create a living connection among the crowd. 💚 Without you guys, this wouldn’t exist. I love the vibe that’s developing here… 💚💚💚 by @neiltemplardj
