Apparently it takes a busy tired brain fog addled perimenopausal woman who fucking forgets shit all the time over 6 months to post about her birthday celebrations … but here we are 😂🎂

And what a weekend it was ❤️

Friday kicked off with lots of craic in a couple of boxes at the Olympia watching the hilarious @joannemcnally and @gearoidfarrelly followed by a few drinks in Thomas Read’s 🍸

Saturday was @thebelfrystoneybatter where so many lovely friends dropped in and out to celebrate with me 🤗 In photos I’m hiding behind @the_littlest_rolo_ 🐶 — because apparently when too much attention is directed at me, even on my own birthday, my natural instinct is to use a 3.25kg dog as a shield 😂

Sunday was all about the fam, with a gorgeous lunch at @drurybuildings ❤️ And once all the celebrations were done, myself and Roly Poly checked ourselves into @motelone had a cocktail in the bar and curled up for a very well-earned chilled evening. We checked out Monday and had lunch at @Caribou where Rolo was spoiled (and collected his jacket he left behind in Drury Buildings the day before 😂).

A whole weekend filled with friends, family, laughter, drinks, love and so many of my favourite people. 🥰

The birthday wasn’t too shabby at all. 😁

And only 6 months late posting it. Sure look… I’ve peri m 🧠fog. I’m doing well to remember it happened. 😂🥂❤️ by @neirds

Adopted many years ago in January 2015. You were part of the family long before Rolo came along ❤️

When Rolo arrived, you tolerated him 😂 but if he got a bit too much, you'd simply remove yourself, find another room or climb into your little house, turn your back and let him know you'd had enough. Message received 😬

But despite your occasional need for peace and quiet, you and Rolo got on well. You shared treats, explored beaches together and spent family visits side by side. Rolo always loved seeing you....and stealing your bed ☺️

You were one smart little lady. You always seemed to know exactly where all the treats were hidden 🐾

Thank you for the beach walks, the cuddles and the memories 🥰

Sleep well, Holly. You were loved beyond measure and you'll be missed more than you'll ever know. ❤️🐾

Lord Hawtin Bass Ivancenco

Bass has been my friend since 2012 and Rolo's since 2023.

When Rolo arrived, Bass welcomed him into the gang and tolerated all the chaos that comes with a new puppy. He even helped organise Rolo's surprise puppy shower. ❤️

Over the years they became the best of pals. They swapped beds, shared treats, and spent hours together. Rolo always knew when Bass was nearby — the sound of Bass's little bell would have him looking around before he even appeared.

Bass was patient, gentle, and endlessly tolerant of Rolo.

It's hard to imagine visits without hearing that bell, seeing them curled up in each other's beds, or watching Rolo and Bass look to me for a treat.

Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to us both. We were lucky to know you, lucky to love you, and lucky to call you our pal. ❤️

Hope there's 100s of tennis balls where you are now. 🥎

You will be missed. 💙🐾
