Things you can’t do once you become a model 👀 ⠀ 1. Don’t post just anything 📱 Drunk stories, messy nights out, questionable content… clients and casting directors can see it too. Your public profile is part of your professional image. Keep some things for Close Friends. ⠀ 2. Don’t neglect your nails 💅 Hands AND feet. Keep your nails clean, neat and neutral — ready for a shoot, even when the booking comes last minute. ⠀ 3. Don’t change your look without telling your agency ✂️ A new hair colour or a major haircut changes what clients are booking. You need to look like your digitals and comp card. Discuss big changes with your agency first. ⠀ 4. Don’t let your measurements become outdated 📏 Clients book you based on the measurements provided. That’s what the clothes are selected for. If your body changes, update your agency — and your digitals. ⠀ 5. Don’t expect jobs to work around your plans 🗓️ Nothing for weeks, then several bookings at once. A great job can clash with a birthday, holiday or weekend away. Sometimes you have to choose.
