I was just looking through my streaming platforms trying to find a movie to watch tonight and I found "The Thursday Murder Club". I watched the trailer because it seemed like something I would enjoy. Well, while I was watching it kind of seemed familiar... Turns out it's a book adaption of one of the books on my never ending tbr. But at least I already have the book (if I am honest I had for at least a year but it never felt quite ready to read for me) and now I have another motivation to finally read it ( I want to watch the movie). 🍰🐺🔎

Do you have a movie recommendation for me?

This book has been sitting on my shelf since July and I am so excited to finally start it!!! And the second book of the Emerald Lake just got announed a couple days ago, so it's the perfect start for this series. Fever dream will be the 10th book I've read by Elsie Silver and I already now that it will be an absolute amazing read (like all the other books that I've read so far by her). 🪻🤠🩷

Have you read anything by Elsie Silver?

My September reading wrap-up 🩷🤠🎙

I read:
• seven books in total
• two digital & five print
• one german & six english
• 3,174 pages in total

September was one of my better months readingwise. I have read books from four new (for me) authors and three out of four I will continue reading books from. Sadly, I won't be finishing the playing for keeps series as I really had to force myself to finish the first one. And I was actually looking forward to this series as it has been on my tbr for quite some time. Elle Kennedy will forever be one of my favourite authors so it was no surprise that I devoured love song. With guarded love I finished the Crestwood University Series for now. The good news is there will be coming another book, the bad news is the initial release day was pushed back and there wasn't a new one announced yet. Get over it, April Evans was the fifth book I have read by Ashley Herring Blake and she proved again why she is my all time favourite sapphic author.

Also how cool is the reading calender? Especially with the different colours for the different books. It's really cool to see how many pages in which book you read throughout the month.

What was your favourite book that you read in September?

I was visiting a friend today and had to take the train to get there. And honestly I loved it because I could use the time to read. University is starting next week so I want to use as much time as possible to read some more. Because ones university starts I will be knee deep into scientifical reading and won't be having neither the time nor the mental capacity to read any other books. And don't get me wrong I am absolutely excited to continue my studies but I will be missing my reading time. 💜☕️🧩

What book are you currently reading?

I started this book today (the English translation of the title is "Ancient Myths & Legends Without Men") and I just think it's so beautiful. The pink and orange work great with the illustrations throughout the book. 🧡🐍🍇

I have only read like 40 pages so I can't say much on the content yet, but I think it's gonna be a wonderful introduction to Greek Mythology for someone (me) who does not have any or a really narrow knowledge about it and wants to focus on the female side of history.

Have you read a book about Greek Mythology yet?

I absolutely love books with a playlist because it feels like I can get a deeper understanding of the characters. 🌲🏒💙

I keep using random stuff as bookmarks because whenever I need them I can never find them 🙈🌸💛

Do you use more bookmarks or random objects to not loose your place in a book?
