What a great time in Toronto! 🩷
A huge thank you to @indigenousscreen for making this trip possible, @shinenetworkinc for making my first TIFF experience possible, and @widc.ca for hosting such a wonderful brunch for WIDC alumni.
It was so good to catch up with old friends, make new ones, watch some incredible panels and films, and even squeeze in a Blue Jays game!
None of this would be possible without the support of these organizations.
So grateful for the opportunities, community, and connections. Thank you so much! ❤️

What an incredible time in Toronto.

A huge thank you to @insideoutfestival for the warm welcome. This was my first time attending as part of the festival, and I was genuinely touched by the kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm of everyone involved. It was an honour to be a small part of such a meaningful event.

I was also in the city for @imaginenative, which continues to be one of the most important spaces for Indigenous storytellers. As someone said during the festival, “I don’t think I would still be making films if it wasn’t for this festival.” That sentiment resonated deeply with me. Thank you for continuing to champion, inspire, and uplift Indigenous voices and stories.

And finally, thank you to @indigenousscreen for making it all possible. Your support creates opportunities for Indigenous creators to connect, grow, and share our work with the world. I’m incredibly grateful ❤️ taken in Toronto, Canada by @nellbel
