We wanted to see the Aurora Australis but instead, Tekapo gave us the Milky Way and our first taste of snow. Totally serendipitous how its first major snowfall happened on the same night we stayed there. This place is a gift that keeps on giving 🌌❄️ taken in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand by @nelledilao

The Land of a Thousand Waterfalls

We were all set for a cruise at Milford Sound, but Mother Nature had other plans—120 knot winds and heavy rain forced them to cancel the sail. Not many cruises get canceled, so I guess we experienced some wild weather. On the flip side, seeing the waterfalls in all its fury was truly rare and beautiful, something the guides said doesn’t happen often. Still a worthwhile experience 🫶🏻 taken in Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park by @nelledilao

Last night, I had the honour of receiving the Courage Value Award at the Bausch + Lomb Gala Dinner 2026. The truth is, I’m often scared— scared of presentations, of speaking up in meetings, of small talk, of saying the wrong thing. But I do it anyway. I do it scared and choose to move through it.

I’m learning that the fear never really disappears— you just get better at meeting it, again and again. 2025 really stretched me to my limits, but I came out even more tenacious, supported by incredible colleagues. And I guess that’s what courage is all about— it’s not fearlessness, but about showing up anyway despite of💪🏼 taken in Cronulla by @nelledilao
