Connecting our business and local community | Creating opportunities & Sharing the experiences and moments that make Miami thrive!

🌴☀️ Walks with Nelly | History, Nostalgia & Meaningful Connections…

Only in Miami! A nearly century-old building on Lenox Avenue, (I’m obsessed with historical landmarks), the iconic Goodyear Blimp overhead, and an unexpected reunion with Dia, a wonderful Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce member and fellow Leadership Miami alumna! 💚

A beautiful reminder that while buildings preserve our history, it’s the genuine relationships we nurture over time that make our community truly special. ✨

Curious about joining the Chamber? DM me! I’d love to connect with you!

✨ A Night Honoring Leadership, Legacy & Community! 🏆

Last night, we celebrated the one and only César L. Alvarez, recipient of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s highest honor, the prestigious Sand in My Shoes Award! 👏🏼

This extraordinary recognition celebrates visionary leaders whose dedication, influence, and lasting contributions have helped shape the Miami we know and love.

Mr. Alvarez exemplifies leadership with purpose—a visionary, a community advocate, and a true champion for South Florida. His legacy is a powerful reminder that great leadership isn’t just about success; it’s about the lives we touch and the communities we uplift. 💚

My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us, our generous sponsors, and my exceptional GMCC colleagues, whose passion, dedication, and teamwork made this unforgettable evening possible! ✨

Here’s to celebrating those who make Miami greater! 🌴🥂

What a beautiful evening celebrating philanthropy, generosity, and the power of community! 💎✨

A heartfelt thank you to Polsinelli for inviting me to the 19th Annual Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Diamond Ball at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. Special thanks to Everett Wilson for including me in such a meaningful evening! ✨💫

For decades, Nicklaus Children’s Health has transformed pediatric healthcare, touching millions of lives through compassionate care, groundbreaking treatments, and a commitment to giving children and families hope when they need it most.

Events like these remind me that business is about more than connections and opportunities. It’s about using our relationships to make a difference.

And sometimes, philanthropy becomes deeply personal. When someone you love faces a health challenge, you realize just how invaluable compassionate healthcare, research, and community support truly are. ❤️

Grateful to be surrounded by business leaders who understand that true success is measured not only by what we achieve, but by the lives we touch.

🇲🇽Hispanic Heritage Month hits differently when it’s your story. ❤️

I’m the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants from El Terrero, Ixtlan del Rio, Nayarit and La Ceja, Garcia de la Cadena, Zacatecas who came to Los Angeles, California in the late ’60s searching for opportunity and a better future.

Their courage, sacrifices, and work ethic shaped who I am—and why community and connection mean so much to me.

💚Today, I’m proud to carry their story with me in Miami and through my work at the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce—connecting businesses, entrepreneurs, and leaders and helping open doors for others.

✨Looking to grow your business and become more connected to Miami? Come join our Chamber community! Email me at NHOCKE@miamichamber.com for more information

Global connections. Miami impact. 🌎✨

This week was a powerful reminder that when you invest in the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, you’re connecting your business to opportunities that extend far beyond Miami.

It was a pleasure welcoming a senior government and business delegation from Ras Al Khaimah, UAE 🇦🇪, in partnership with JP Global Advisors, for meaningful conversations around international trade, investment, innovation, and collaboration.

This is what Chamber engagement looks like: local relationships creating global opportunities.

Ready to expand your network, elevate your visibility, and grow your business? Invest in your community. Join the Chamber.

🍂 Fall is in full swing, and it was great to reconnect with so many familiar faces at this week’s Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce September Trustee Luncheon. It had been way too long!

Our conversation around property taxes underscored how decisions in our community directly impact businesses and Miami’s continued growth. With the November 3 General Election approaching, staying informed and making your voice heard at the ballot box matters.

The same is true when it comes to engaging with the Chamber. Showing up and getting involved creates opportunity—to build meaningful relationships, increase your company’s visibility, join important conversations, and help your business thrive in Greater Miami.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Here’s to an impactful fall season ahead!🍂🍁

Want to get your company more engaged? Let’s connect about membership, sponsorship, and ways to get involved.
