More Than Baseball | The NE Way

We’ve really enjoyed working with our athletes and families this month on the educational and personal growth side of the game.

A little look at what we’ve been working on:

⚾ 6th Grade: Learning HOW to watch baseball. We’ll break down a World Series game, focusing on communication, decisions, and everything that happens between pitches.

🏫 8th Grade: Exploring high school options with four coaches representing MIAA public/private and NEPSAC day/boarding schools.

📚 Freshmen: Understanding the college recruiting landscape, timelines, and why development should remain the priority.

🎓 Sophomores: Building a college list based on academic, social, financial, and athletic fit—not just the name on the jersey.

We’ve also sent grade-specific newsletters to help players and families understand what’s important right now in their journey.

Every age has a different focus. Every player has a different path. Development isn’t just physical.

Our goal is simple: Educate, prepare, and help players take ownership of their future. by @nemariners
