BTS Talking People X Shoreditch House 11th May 2026

Talking People returned to Shoreditch house for another two hander with Nemide May and Jordan Peters. This show asked what it is to be looking for love in the twenty-first century, when you have a child and deep meaningful responsibilities at home.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who came to watch and support this brilliant artistry!

Thank you once again to our artists, crew and team at Shoreditch house for bringing this show to life!

Tomorrow is the night! BTS TALKING PEOPLE X SHOREDITCH HOUSE

In line with our next show the actors were given an opportunity to get to know one another as Talking People returns to Shoreditch House with another exploration of what it is to enter into a ‘loving’ relationship, but this time there’s a twist...both characters have young children. So we’ll be asking what it is to be looking for love in the twenty-first century, when you have a child and deep meaningful responsibilities at home.

From their first meeting to their last encounter, the audience joins them every step of the way.

Join us for chapter 4

After our first site specific sold out show at UNDR, Talking People is back this May with a show like no other…

Talking People returns to Shoreditch House with another exploration of what it is to enter into a ‘loving’ relationship, but this time there’s a twist...both characters have young children. So we’ll be asking what it is to be looking for love in the twenty-first century, when you have a child and deep meaningful responsibilities at home.

Every show is created in the moment, shaped by the audience and the performers, together. It might be funny, harrowing, or painfully familiar but what we do know is that it will be something you’ll only see once.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning for more, get ready for something bold, intimate, and truly unique.

Thank you for all the love and support over the past 18 shows and we would love to see you all there on the 11th May ✨

From their first meeting to their last encounter, the audience joins them every step of the way. As usual, the audience will be able to quiz the couple and help guide their destiny, experiencing their lives together until the very end.
Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s heartbreaking and like always it’s completely improvised.

Back in the day when I first had the thought of taking all this creativity seriously I co-wrote, co-produced and starred in a play called NO ENTRY at the pub Kings Head Theatre… 2 nights. 3 shows. Sold out! And I basically thought YEAH this is what I wanna do. Fast forward many years, a 7 year hiatus, 3 children, recovery, grief, so many highs and SO many lows I’m back at the newer, bigger Kings Head Theatre playing Beth in BREEDING by (the brilliant) Barry McStay!!!
What a full circle moment… 🧿
Grateful beyond belief for this opportunity to tell this extremely important story with @barrymcstay and @dannicholson.uk and masterfully directed by THE @tratcliffe15
AND to have the incredible creative team @gabriellasillsproductions @i.m.rula @jac_cooper_music @rachelsampley @honorklein @seabrightlive help bring this story to life with us.
