Mahalo to the @kaneohecommunity for their input! During our most recent pop-up at @j.b.castlehighschool, we asked the Kāne‘ohe community to tell us: WHAT in your community needs fixing?

Here’s some of what they said:
- Fix the potholes and the roads!
- Clear the streams of brush and debris
- Clean and repair the sidewalks around town
- Catch and spay feral animals
- Create covered bus stops
- More options for temporary housing shelters

Have more to say? Add to the conversation by commenting below! NEMIMART’s goal is to continue collecting valuable feedback like this and plan out a proper solution in partnership with other community organizations.

Volunteers days, fundraising, government action, and more! Let’s fight for a future where Kāne‘ohe and other communities THRIVE! We shall always find a way to #GetItDoneTogether by @nemimart

Native Diaspora farewell event ✨. So thankful for this opportunity and for everyone who showed up. It was such a humbling experience seeing my merchandise being modeled and just seeing everyone come together as a community. This isn’t goodbye, it’s just a hui hou for now. Expanding my vision in Turtle island, backpacking through Mexico and connecting to my Mexican roots. The vision remains, Dekālānize, Remālanize, Rewaitalize. Mahalo nui for everyone who showed up, a BIG SHOUTOUT TO our sponsor @nemimart we couldn’t have done this without you. Big mahalo to @paradiseislandfashionweek for hosting us and making this work and mahalo @coyecurations for the opportunity. Blessed beyond words, this is just the beginning✨🥰. #dekalanize #fashionshow #sustainability #bartermarket #diaspora taken in Ola Ka ’Ilima Artspace Lofts by @nemimart
