What is your #happyplace? For a lot of us it’s definitely not another video conference. Escape the mundane by getting magically transported to the Happiest Place on Earth: Walt Disney World.

There is no better feeling than creative collaboration. I used to dream of this moment. Every late night. Every creative pitch. Every heart break. Every zoom meeting. This is why we work so hard. Everyone has an opinion, but creatives learn that you make your art by any means necessary.

We are building a new way to tell stories from the ground up. We the people. The tools are a nice to have.

Surviving a zombie apocalypse is hard.
Making it to your AI conference on time? Even harder.

Here’s my submission for the #ImpossibleCommute challenge for AI ON THE LOT @aionthelot . A fast-paced animated zombie comedy inspired by my favorite adult animations.

I created the visuals using Seedance + Nano Banana, the soundtrack was created in @sunomusic , and the entire workflow was powered through @runwayapp thanks to my CPP access.

I’ve been stress testing the capabilities of what Seedance can do especially in the hybrid space. As a filmmaker I love being on set and working with actors. AI can’t replicate the happy accidents you create while filming. While it’s not perfect I can see how smaller indie films can start utilizing this motion transfer technique to tell more grand stories. Let me know what you think. taken in Hollywood by @nemperez

Earlier this week at @runwayapp’s summit in NYC, Dave Clark showcased the hybrid production work of our production services division, The Generation Company, on a true crime TV series. The goal was to transform grainy, low-resolution photos and footage into immersive 3D environments the host could walk through. Using a blend of GenAI and traditional filmmaking techniques, @wailan.siu, @nemperez, and their teams brought these crime scenes to life.
