A sincere thanks to author for trusting me with her book. It took very long to finish this ARC read.

The story is set against a sharp, high-stakes corporate backdrop, this story centers on Bella and Zavian as they navigate reconciliation, resilience, and personal healing. But the character I liked the most is our second lead Sofia. She has the charm to attract whenever she was mentioned, the story feels more lively around her. Every time they stepped onto the page, they brought a welcome burst of energy that elevated the narrative.

While the whole story is amazing but I felt very difficult to actually connect with the MMC Zavian and FMC Bella. I truly understood their struggles and the hard work through which they achieved what they are but, I struggled to build a deep emotional connection with Bella and Zavian as a couple. Their romantic bond didn't fully pull me in, several of the high-stakes emotional beats didn't land with the weight they deserved.

Apart from this as much as I love Dual Pov it felt very very replayed from both vantage points without adding enough fresh insight particularly where the same scenes were replayed

Still, there is plenty to appreciate here, especially for fans of career-focused heroines, heartfelt reconciliation tropes, and narratives rooted in emotional growth.
It is clearly a project written with genuine passion, marking a promising debut from an author with real potential.
I look forward to seeing what they write next. by @nems.read

JUST FINISHED THE SERIES AND UMMM… WHO GAVE LEIGH PERMISSION TO DO THIS TO ME???

10/10 emotional damage.
0/10 ability to move on.
100/10 would suffer again. 🖤

READ THIS SERIES.
But check the trigger warnings first — SA, abuse, trauma and other heavy themes are present.

I went in thinking “cute little dark romance” and came out emotionally traumatised. 🧍🏻‍♀️

Kade and Stacey??? MY PEOPLE.
I am NOT okay.

The emotional whiplash in these books is actually criminal. One minute I'm giggling over their chemistry, the next I'm staring at the page like 🧍🏻‍♀️💔 and wondering WHY THESE TWO HAVE TO SUFFER SO MUCH.

Kade's story??? PAIN.
Stacey??? MY GIRL.
Their love??? RUINED ME.

And don't even get me started on the softness. Yes, the spice was 🔥, but the tenderness?? The vulnerability?? The little moments where they just choose each other?? THAT'S what actually got me.

I finished book 3 and immediately entered the “now what the hell am I supposed to read?” phase.

Kade broke me. Stacey broke me. Their story completely destroyed me.

I went in expecting a dark romance and somehow ended up emotionally attached to Kade and Stacey like they were real people. Their story was painful, messy, beautiful, heartbreaking, and somehow still so full of love.

I don't want to let them go. I want to reread everything. I want the audiobooks. I want to erase my memory and experience it all again.

Kade Mitchell has officially taken permanent residence in my brain. Stacey deserves the entire universe.
