My family threw me a surprise birthday party this Labor Day. And it was everything I could ask for - I didn’t realize how overwhelming it can be to have a bunch of faces you love yell surprise at you in a dark room. I’m so grateful and so lucky to have the family and friends I have.

thank you all for making this birthday so super special. There was Karoake and Mexican food! It was perfection.

My dad passed away when I was a kid. Today is the anniversary of that day. I woke up to a beautiful message from my mom and my siblings. Our lives changed that day and I’m so grateful I have the family that we have around us.
