CAN I BE SCARED AND BRAVE AT THE SAME TIME?
Absolutely.
Saying hello to a new friend. Walking into a new classroom. Trying something you’re afraid you won’t be good at.
You can feel nervous and still give it a try.
NENU’s reminder for little ones—and their grown-ups: you don’t have to wait for the butterflies to leave before you spread your wings.
What’s something your child feels nervous about trying?

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE BIG TO STAND UP FOR SOMEONE. 💙

If someone is being picked on, your kindness can make a big difference. Sometimes, the most powerful words are simply:

“You’re not alone. I’m here.”

Stand beside them. Help them find a trusted grown-up. Remind them that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included.

This Bullying Prevention Month, NENU celebrates a special kind of bravery: standing up for others, choosing kindness, and making sure nobody feels alone. ✨

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Let's make kindness magical! 💙

You don’t have to be the biggest, the loudest, or the strongest to be brave.

Sometimes bravery is simply taking one small step—even when you feel afraid.

Just ask Steve. 🐿️✨

The courage you need is already inside you. ❤️

💙 Every Feeling Matters

Children experience a wide range of emotions every day. Helping them recognize and talk about their feelings is an important part of emotional wellbeing. Open conversations create trust and help children feel supported.

🗣️ Try asking:
What made you smile today?
What was the hardest part of your day?
Is there anything you'd like help with?
