Who is Neon Capital?
I’m Martin Bøge Agerbeck.
Born and raised in Denmark.
I write and produce music.
I always had a soft spot for everything 80s.
The music, the movies, the fashion.
My favorite band is Depeche Mode.
My favorite album? Too many to mention.
My first album: “True Blue” by Madonna.
When I made mixtapes for my walkman it was everything from Italo Disco, Pop to 80s rock and New Wave.
I started Neon Capital to get out of the major label circus.
Chasing hits, gold and platinum is not what made me fall in love with music.
My childhood did.
Neon Capital is music made from memories and inspiration from the decade I grew up in.

Los Angeles
Three weeks under California skies.
Away from the studio.
Away from the synths.
And yet, Los Angeles still feels strangely familiar.
Like an ‘80s movie you watch over and over again.
I came here to disconnect.
But also to collect memories and find inspiration.
Now I’m back.
The lights are still on.
