This Navratri, remember that the Divine Mother takes many forms. Sometimes she nurtures, sometimes she protects, and sometimes she destroys what must come to an end.

The story of Kali reminds us that peace isn’t always silence, and anger isn’t always destruction. Sometimes, it is the clarity to recognise what must change and the courage to act.

May we find the wisdom to know when to surrender, when to stand firm, and when to become the force that breaks an old pattern.

Sometimes, the hardest things to let go of are the ones we don’t even realise we’re holding on to.

The way we speak to ourselves. The expectations we carry. The patterns we keep repeating.

This Navratri, perhaps the most meaningful change begins with noticing what no longer serves us.

Nine days may not change everything. But they can change something.

And sometimes, that’s enough to begin. ❤️

This Navratri, come to Ma Kamakhya.

On October 15, enter the final doorway of Vama Trika Tantra with the Ma Kamakhya Diksha.

A sacred initiation into Shakti, desire and embodiment, and into meeting the parts of yourself you were taught to suppress or feel ashamed of.

Navratri is a time to turn towards the Divine Feminine.

And this year, perhaps, towards the part of Her that asks you to stop rejecting yourself.

What if you were never meant to fit into just one identity?

This week’s Shakti of the Week is Shilo Shiv Suleman, an artist whose work moves between the sensual and sacred, technology and nature, art and activism, while constantly challenging the boundaries we place around ourselves.

Her story is a reminder that we don’t have to choose between the different worlds we belong to. We can carry contradictions, evolve, expand, and still remain wholly ourselves.

Sometimes, becoming more of who you are means giving yourself permission to be more than one thing.

Kali becomes easier to consume when we turn her into a mood.

Rage. Rebellion. Power. The “dark feminine.”

But a deity is not an aesthetic, and a tradition is not an archetype waiting to fit our language.

The more we reduce Kali to what feels relatable, the more we risk losing what was meant to unsettle us.

Maybe the point was never to make Kali more like us.

Maybe the point was to let Kali dismantle what we think we are.

Spirituality is not only measured by how deeply you can go within. It is also revealed by how you show up for the people around you.

Because the real practice begins when someone challenges you, hurts you, disappoints you, or simply says no.

Your practice should not just change what you believe.
It should slowly change how you behave.

Why are so many women drawn to Kaal Bhairav?

Perhaps because his fierceness can be understood not as something to fear, but as something that protects what is sacred.

He reminds us that boundaries can be spiritual, softness does not mean weakness, and protection should never come at the cost of your agency.

Maybe the deepest form of fearlessness is not becoming harder.

It is feeling safe enough to remain fully yourself.

What if some of the patterns you carry began before you did?

The mother wound can shape the way you experience love, safety, worth and belonging. Sometimes through what happened, and sometimes through what was passed down.

Karma and the Mother Wound is a 5-session live immersion with Ritika Bhagya exploring maternal lineage, karmic patterns, the body, dharma and conscious choice.

Across five sessions, we move from recognising what you carry to understanding where it comes from, working with it through embodied practices and exploring what you choose to carry forward.

29 October to 26 November
Every Thursday | 7:30 PM IST
5 live sessions | Lifetime access | English

Comment the word Karma to receive the details.

Some things we wear carry stories far older than we realise.

This week’s Shakti of the Week is Colleena Shakti, whose journey through Indian dance, Rajasthan, and the world of adornment has become a living relationship with art, culture, and tradition.

For Colleena, dance is not simply performance, and jewellery is not simply ornament. Both can become languages of expression, carrying symbolism, memory, beauty, and meaning.

Her story reminds us to look beyond what we see and ask what is being expressed through it.

Maybe Bhairava was never asking you to stop being afraid. Maybe he was asking you to stop running.

Because there are things in life we cannot control. Things we cannot hold onto. Things that remind us of impermanence, loss, death and the limits of who we think we are.

Bhairava asks us to meet them.

- Not through fear, but through presence.
- Not through escape, but through discipline.
- Not by controlling everything, but by learning what it means to remain steady when we cannot.

On September 30th, we enter this doorway through Kala Bhairava Diksha with Dr. Pallavi Kwatra, as part of the Vama Trika Tantra Diksha.

A deeper initiation into the mantra, ritual and sadhana of Kala Bhairava, with mantra initiation, traditional practices and live Shaktipata.

If something in you feels called to walk closer, DM us to know more.
