1st FREE event for High Desert Game Devs will officially take place on…drum roll…AUGUST 2nd!!!!!!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 2nd 2026 from 2-4pm, hosted at the amazing @transplantsvenue @transplantsbrewing

Tell your friends!

Come join for what could turn out to be the start of something really special for the Antelope Valley.

If you’ve never made a videogame before, you will leave having made one on this day. It’ll be a bite-sized unpolished 2D game, but it’s how we all start. Just bring your laptop and a charger please!

If you’ve made games before, and want to bring your computer to hang out with other aspiring devs, come on down!

Tell your friends please!
I would love for this to succeed so Palmdale and Lancaster can be known as an indie game hub.

And if you are interested in getting started before this date, DM me.

What kind of games do you all hope/want to make? by @neotokyocon

When we came up with this design, we never imagined we would one day meet the voice actress behind Felicia herself! @gkbowes (Capcom’s Darkstalkers fighting game franchise).

A huge thank you to @NeoTokyoCon for sponsoring this project, and a special shoutout to @TransplantsBrewing for providing the space for us to bring this mural to life. We appreciate the support and the opportunity to create something special for the community.

A big thank you to everyone on the SM Team who came out on May 29th and helped make this mural project happen. The talent, creativity, and teamwork that went into this piece truly show. Every artist brought their own unique style, helping transform a simple shipping container into a colorful work of art that reflects our community and creative spirit.

Projects like this don’t happen without people willing to show up, put in the work, and collaborate. We appreciate everyone who picked up a brush, a marker, or a spray can and contributed to the final production.

Thank you, SM Team, for your hard work, dedication, and artistic vision. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🎨🔥
