@newconsciousworld We were taught to fear them — to swat, spray, and run.
But bugs were never our enemies. They pollinate our food, feed our birds, clean our soil, and keep the world alive.
The real threat isn’t them… it’s what happens when they’re gone.

🌍 Stop using pesticides.
🍂 Leave the leaves.
💚 Reconnect with the life that sustains us.

@solomon.pakal The arrival of millions of Monarch butterflies in Mexico every November is not a biological coincidence. It is a spiritual homecoming. 👇🏽

Every year, precisely around late October and early November, millions of Monarch butterflies complete a massive 3,000-mile journey from the north, arriving in the Oyamel fir forests of central Mexico.

To the indigenous Purépecha and Mazahua people, this timing is not just a seasonal migration. For centuries, they have understood that these butterflies are the physical manifestations of the ancestors. They are the souls of the dead, riding the wind to return to the living exactly when the veil is at its thinnest.

Western science often reduces this incredible journey to mere instinct and biology. But Mesoamerican cosmology understands that the earth and the spirit realm do not operate separately; they are deeply synchronized. The natural world isn’t just a backdrop for human life. It is an active participant in our spiritual cycles.

When you see a Monarch during this time, you are not just looking at a pollinator. You are quite literally witnessing an ancestor completing their journey home. by @nepantla007

@danielcblight Zionism is a white supremacist movement, white supremacy does settler-colonialism, settler-colonialism does genocide. Zionism is genocidal. It was designed that way.

Día de Muertos is a living Indigenous celebration. 🦋🌼💀🌼🦋

We honor the past in the now to create the futurities of a collective vision. 🪶♾️🪶

Día de Muertos is the immaterial long body honored in material terms. 💫👁️💫

Día de Muertos is a cosmovision and a penetration of the thin veil that separates and creates the space for the tension of opposites.
🔥🌊💨🌽🛘

Repost from fernandacortesx : “Día de Muertos has roots stretching back thousands of years. Hollywood may have introduced these traditions to new audiences but generations of Mexicans have kept them alive. “

@fourvisionstribe Every lineage on Pachamama has an original name for her 🌎

In Quechua she is Pachamama, where *pacha* holds world, time, and universe together. In Māori, Papatūānuku, and the word for land, *whenua*, also means placenta. For the Lakota she is Unčí Maká, Grandmother Earth. For the Akan, Asase Yaa, who is honored with a day of rest from the soil each week.

As we approach Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the living peoples who carry these names forward, and the reciprocity they teach: honor her, and she holds you.

What did your ancestors call her? 🤍
