Detroit really outdid itself for our final electro brunch. Neptunians showed up, danced and partied like the icy blue giant would evaporate into the atmosphere after the final beat. What a dream in the Great Dark Spot it was with all of you. And although this may have been the last Detroit Brunch, know that we’ll always be able to meet in the GDS through space and time; the mix series isn’t going away! Thank you so much to our lead navigators who absolutely took us there: @tduvante, @ectomorphit and @olemicodd. AJ and I had so much fun playing as DJ Phantasea too. Thank you to the staff at @mcshanes_pub_detroit and @audiorescueteam for always holding it down, and all the friends who contributed to making it happen. Thank you for your participation. We love you all! 🩵🕳️ photos 1, 4, 8 by @andrewcharlesedman #neptunianinfluence #electrobrunch #electro #electromusic #electroparty #detroitbrunch #detroit #movementdetroit #movementfestival #mcshanesdetroit #titontonduvante #ectomorph #olemicodd #djphantasea taken in Mcshane's by @neptunianinfluence

Dear Neptunians,

It’s been a little quiet in the Great Dark Spot this year as we’ve been focusing on a personal project called Baby Neptune🪺 However, we’re pleased to close out the year with one more epic ride around Neptune, making it NI75! This latest transmission is captained by Montreal-based DJ/producer and longtime NI supporter @cyan.cmd! She is the host of Modular Systems, a biweekly radio show on the campus-community station CKUT 90.3 FM, and her productions can be found on labels including @fixed_rhythms, @pprz.records, and @jacktonerecords.

Enjoy this festive electro feast and until next time, meet you in the Great Dark Spot ✨🥏✨ #neptunianinfluence #CMD #montreal #modularsystems #electro #electromusic #electromix #soundcloud taken in Montreal, Canada by @neptunianinfluence

Neptunian Influence: Detroit Brunch Journey’s End is the gift that keeps on giving. Recorded live on May 25, 2024, we are proud to present Ectomorph’s electrifying DJ set. To have the iconic Detroit electro duo perform at our closing party was a dream, and they slid in and took everyone in attendance deep into the Great Dark Spot. We hope that you enjoy this little piece of NI history!

Check out the Interesting Results of the latest findings in the Great Dark Spot 🔵🔭🕳️🔬

@interestingresults hails not from Rotterdam but that other place below sea level: New Orleans. As a lifelong lover of electro (and discordant noises in general) this playlist was thoughtfully curated from some of her favorite songs lately. While the electronic music scene in New Orleans might be small, it is quite special and steadily growing; here’s to hoping this mix might catch the attention of some of her favorite acts and help to bring them here! Please enjoy her sleep paralysis demon mix.
