When you know she has the best care, will likely have the best outcomes, but still you would rather walk over hot coals rather than leave that pre-op room. Still, all smiles.

@broadwaybb75 is in surgery to get rid of the cancer so she can start her recovery, so she can get back to 100% of the powerhouse of the person she is. #fuckcancer 💜💋🌈💜 by @nerdllama

In my family, we call it The Sickness™. It's the drive to say "sure, that doesn't sound so hard" and that's probably huberous. It's getting jollies at the making of the space rather than participating in it. The sense of deep happiness that comes from answering the call to build community with our hands.

It's the sickness that has you sweating and dirty sitting next to a dumpster while you contemplate what next with a shitty grin on your face. Inventory sorted, bags packed, coolers cleaned.

Happy Pride, y'all. I'm very excited about Pride in the Park on Saturday. Come see us at our booth to the right of the stage. It's going to be very cool because I really like my job and I'm hella good at it. #pride2026 #cheerseattle #csea💎 #productionlife by @nerdllama

I took two days off work to give myself a 5 day weekend. Tomorrow is all Cheer Seattle. Pride season got me and it's time for this buttercup to buckle up.

Sometimes you make a decision that you have no idea in the moment how outrageously impactful it has on the direction of your life. I took an oath to a sisterhood 27 years ago that brought @therealkatybug into my life. She's my sister, my ride or die, more family than blood and today is her birthday.

Happy Birthday you glorious peacock of a human. I love you to every moon and back. by @nerdllama

The group chat has decided that the shiny, articulated darling on my shoulder is a rhinestone pangolin. I'm obsessed.

It was a tough workday made better by picking up estate sale goodies I didn't spend money on and chilly beach walks and belly laughs.

Mom sent this photo in a frame. Paid actual $ to ship it to me. This photo was on my family wall since the day they developed it sometime in 1979/80. I've been practicing to be a cryptid since early age.

Also, this is one of the photos that modern me thinks 'where are their parents' because this was not staged, I was just hanging out outside in the pine run. by @nerdllama

Not my favorite way to figure out that plant might need a repot. It's been a hard year for my whole plant collection. It's spring, we will rebuild. 🌿🪴 by @nerdllama

When I say 'down with the sickness' it's this: time alone is some weird storage area contemplating why anyone needs this many of x thing - but it's pom-poms now and not electrical cords. Apropos to those who have been here for a long time, it's the basement of a very cool circus arts theater.

@cheerseattle is getting into the parade/festival/pride season and the pressure builds for production. It's awesome. All this work now, means more opportunities to bring absolutely ridiculous joy and shiny literally everywhere we go.

I'm gonna go play with physics to get this all to fit AND function for spring.

If you made it this far and haven't already, go follow @cheerseattle. We're super great. You'll like it. by @nerdllama
