For those of you that don’t know Josh over at @nerdrc_official took her in and performed some much needed maintenance.
•
What he upgraded on the current Nerd Gizmo Chassis:
- New @hiper_esc
- Nerd Gadget Transmission
- Beefier front Lower Nerd Brass Links
- Swapped out the mag mounts for unicorn mounts
Then he drove the piss out of the rig, slapped some nerd love livery in the rear end and sent her back home.

On a different note, Josh and I could have completely failing businesses and still live for this with our daily banter, talking about how to improve this platform constantly, how to be better for the community and still be having the time of our lives. Josh and I fired up our businesses at the same time and we instantly became two of the closest people in the hobby and I am so grateful for that. Appreciate you big dawg 🤘🏼🤓

I got to spend some time at @frontrangecrawlerscompound for the first time in a month. I was feeling the pressure of work and life, irritable and anxious. I walked in and as more friends walked in those feelings washed away. The NerdRC ShortKing release ProtoStripe, headed out to it's new owner @workhardrc in a matter of days. The NerdLab is adorning this release with exclusive Dia de los Muertos artwork making this a release as gorgeous as it is effective.

In our current climate of micro crawlers, rigs have gotten longer to combat bigger ledges, but also more cumbersome in the twisties. Short rigs have been nearly forgotten about in competition settings as off angle gate crossings have become harder and harder.

NerdRC is setting that design ethos on its head replacing crazy long wheelbases with modern geometry and design. The team got together and said, "what if we had C1 length with C2 geometry?" So I went to work, making new upper links to handle a forward Gadget, redesigned rear links to maximize skid breakaway and rear axle approach, and improved, simplified chassis lines... My god what a result.

Whether you are looking for a nimble table course killer, a fanny pack giant slayer, or a nano sized scaler, the ShortKing is here to be a staple of your lineup. #nerdrc #scx24 #nerdlab #custom by @nerdrc_official
