šŸ–¤SOULBINDER - Early 2027
POSTS STORIES REELS
BLURB REVEAL Canā€™t believe that today I finally get to share the blurb for my debut romantasy, Soulbinder!! This is a story that has lived in my my head for half of my life but only recently I had found the courage to put into paper. I wrote Soulbinder during one of the most difficult periods of my life and in some ways, I like to think it helped carry me through. If it proves anything, itā€™s that some flowers can really bloom from the harshest winter. I hope this story finds its way to some of you ā¤ļø What you can expect:Ā  ā€ØšŸ–¤Dual TimelinesĀ  ā€ØšŸ”„Multi POV + Multiple RomancesĀ  ā€ØāœØForbidden RomanceĀ  ā€ØšŸ–¤Found Family ā€ØšŸ”„Elemental Magic BLURB: Arianna Haleā€™s lifetime has never known a Soulbinderā€”not since the last one, Clarisse, fragmented her own soul. Now the Conclaveā€™s magic wanes, the wizard Desmond Faneā€™s corruption spreads, and the souls of the dead wander, barred from rebirth. And theyā€™re drawn to Ari. As storm- and fire-wielding paladins, Ari and her commander, Kade, hold the western line against Desmondā€™s armies. Now they learn of a potential new Soulbinder. Elin, a common seamstress, may be the first pure soul in decades, someone who can restore balanceā€¦ but only if Desmond doesnā€™t find her first. But when Ari and Kade journey across the wilds to collect Elin for testing, the woman they find doesnā€™t fit the mold of a pure soulā€”whatever that means. She enjoys the pleasures of life and didnā€™t ask for this responsibility. And when she spends time with Kadeā€”a stern protector but a tender single fatherā€”sparks fly. With Desmondā€™s forces closing in, Ari must face the voice thatā€™s haunted her waking dreams, and Elin must grapple with whether she even wants to restore the old balance. After all, why did Clarisse shatter everything? May the spirits we mourn find their path to the Flame. by @nerissawinterauthor
Meet Kade and Elin: a Firewielder commander who wants to uphold his duty above everything else, and a newly discovered Lightwielder trying to navigate her new circumstancesā€¦ and whose soul might hold more than it seems. šŸ”„ The wonderful @bethgilbert_art did such an amazing job bringing these two characters to life in this sweet moment from Soulbinder. What is he whispering in her ear? If you love a one horse trope, youā€™re gonna love this scene!!! šŸ–¤ by @nerissawinterauthor

Firewielder commander by day, single dad by night. šŸ”„ @murilloherdyart did a fantastic job capturing this sweet moment between Kade, his daughter Mira, andā€¦ Cat. What did you name him?ā€ ā€œCat.ā€ ā€œCat?ā€ I repeated, incredulous. She nodded, speaking around a mouthful of food. ā€œSo he knows what he is.ā€ I stifled a laugh. ā€œYou named your fatherā€™s fiercest stallion Starling, and this tiny creature is just Cat?ā€ She looked at me as if Iā€™d asked the most ridiculous question imaginable. ā€œI named Starling when I was five, Ari. I didnā€™t know any better.ā€ ā€œI see,ā€ I said gravely. Kidsā€™ logicā€¦ Meet them in Soulbinder, my debut romantasy coming March 2027!
