Tomorrow sees us at @royalbathandwest , Somerset for The Dairy Show 2026. We really missed being at the Virginia Show back in Ireland this year, so we're delighted to be rejoining the local farming community here in our new home in the South West. If you see us, give us a wave!

Thank you so much to Molly Kirk from Chard and Ilminster News for popping into town to chat with us about Chard's recent reinvigoration. We are proud of our little community and very happy to have been included in the article. I still remember commenting on the post in the Chard group when someone asked if it was a dying town. It absolutely isn't and provided that the "relief road" doesn't come in and kill the foot traffic and destroy our beautiful Chard Reservoir, it will continue to grow!

We have so many wonderful shops from Wheels in Motion and Sacred Sisters down the bottom of Holyrood Street right through to the independents on the high street and into Fore Street. We are lucky to have everyone and be able to find almost anything you could possibly need in town.

Next stop - shoe shop, but don't forget you can grab your trainers in Top Togs!

A special note to thank everyone in town for having been so welcoming to us - between the calendar and our shopping forays into town, we've gotten to know so many people and made lots of new friends! <3

Unpopular opinion: we don't think AI should be choosing your family's photographs.

AI can be a brilliant tool when used carefully, but there's a big difference between using it for a specific editing task and handing an entire gallery over to an algorithm.

We've written more about how we use AI at Nest & Fable, why we take extra care with photographs of children, and why we still believe the decisions should stay human.
