I had a boring white wall…

I’ve been wanting to do something with this little corner in my bedroom for a long time, and finally decided to add a mural wallpaper and turn it into a small getting-ready/makeup corner. ✨

I love how such a simple change has made a big difference 🤍 what do you think of this little transformation?

October already… I genuinely can’t believe it. 🍂

A few autumnal moments from my camera roll lately — slow walks with my girl, cosy mornings, and making far too many cinnamon rolls. 🤎

I’ve been really enjoying this little pocket of autumn, but in a couple of days the scenery is going to look very different…We’re off for two weeks, chasing the sun and squeezing in a little summer extension before settling properly into autumn. ☀️

So, a few more autumn moments from home before we swap cosy jumpers for sunshine. ✨

You can really feel the change of seasons in the mornings now… 🍂

The mornings are darker, the light is softer, and somehow that first cup of coffee feels even more comforting. ☕️

A little autumn glow at our coffee station.

Sunday baby room stories

Our little nursery is finally starting to come together. 🤍

We’ve transformed what was once a very dark decadent blue, colour-drenched room. We decided to paint it in a soft, light pink instead and chosen a beautiful neutral, beige-toned wallpaper.🧸

I’ve also added some little pictures to the walls, made by recycling pretty details from cards, gift bags and congratulations cards ✨

There are still plenty of little bits and bobs to finish, and I’ll be adding things slowly as we start transitioning our little girl into her own room. But for now, I’m so happy with how our little nursery is coming together. 🎀

I’ve been really enjoying my September walks in the park this year. The sun still brings a soft, comforting warmth, while the leaves slowly begin to turn golden and brown. 🍂 It’s such a beautiful, gentle time of year.

I hope you’re taking a little time to enjoy the beauty of this new season too. 🤎

The return of @britishbakeoff felt like the perfect excuse to turn on the oven and bake something delicious. 🍪✨

I made these gingerbread and white chocolate cookies, inspired by the ones from @marksandspencerfood Dare I say they’re dangerously easy to eat. 🤎

Who else is watching tonight?

September walks in the park. Still holding onto summer, but autumn is quietly making its entrance 🍂

The days are warm, the gentle sunlight on my face and every walk through the park feels a little more special.
That in-between season feeling has my heart.✨

Are you ready for autumn, or are you still holding on to summer?

It’s been 3 years in the making, and our garden is still far from finished… but good things take time. 🌿

Looking back, I can see just how much this space has already changed. From our new patio, where we now enjoy the sunny days, to the flower beds and grass that once was just a patch of old grey slabs.

It’s starting to feel like the outdoor space we always dreamed of 🤍✨

There’s still so much more I’d love to do with this garden, but looking back at where we started makes me appreciate how far we’ve already come.

Do you manage to balance creating content with mum life, or do you struggle with it too?

I’ve been trying to edit one video for three days!! 🫣

This week we’ve come back from holiday, my baby is teething, the house needs a million things doing, and we’re getting back into that post-summer routine where suddenly there’s so much more going on.

And with less and less of my maternity leave left, I also don’t want to spend every spare minute editing. Sometimes I’d rather have a bath, watch a TV series, or just enjoy those little moments with my baby. 🤎

I’m still very early into creating content, but I already have so much appreciation for the people who have been doing this for years. Because it’s not just filming a little video and posting it. There’s filming, editing, thinking of ideas, taking photos, writing captions… and finding the time to do all of that when your time is already so limited.

I’m trying to remind myself not to get too caught up in the algorithm or how often I should be posting. I’m doing this because I enjoy it, and I want it to stay that way.

So, to all the mums creating in between feeds, naps, teething, housework and everything else… I see you 🤎
