birthday nessie today, 31 on 30th. celebrated my birthday today with a day trip to saona island 🇩🇴. as it’s my first solo trip during my birthday I wanted it to be full of the things I love, that make me feel renewed: the ocean. I’m washing away any limitations on myself and claiming that this year will be my best… 30 showed me how good it could get - it was my best year ever and that’s because I made it happen, I believed it. more good times to come. nothing is stopping me from making 31 even greater. I know how powerful I am now, I know everything I want is already mine. grateful beyond measure, walking in my God given path. the best is yet to come…baby Nessa, we are unstoppable, doing it for you and for mama ✨🩵 by @nesufu

I’m 30! 💚 “I’m in my prime”. Can’t believe I’m celebrating my birthday in Bali with my best friends who came from UK, USA, Australia and Saudi Arabia to be here with me. I’ve never travelled with more than 2 of them at one time, so this is super special to me. Absolutely the best trip of my entire life. They made me feel loved during this trip, it’s funny because I know they love me but there’s something about your people going out their way to shine a light on that - that really hits you! They had a whole surprise presentation even, my friends are my main family. The tears were flowing plenty. What a blessing to experience this new chapter of life. I’m alive and I have the gift of living and trying and thriving and learning, there were many times I didn’t think I’d make it here. Grateful. So I’m not scared to turn 30, as a woman we can’t deny the way we are made to feel about age but this age means a lot to me. I feel like the last year of my life prepared me for what’s to come, things have been the best life has ever been and I know God is about to show me how good it can get. As I reflect on the last 3 decades, especially my 20s - I am in awe of the life I’ve lived thus far including the painful moments - my perspective has been changing and I realise I am who/what I say I am, I create my story, I decide whether my dreams come true or not. “It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting”. In my 30s I will make more of my dreams come true. I’m ỌMỌJILL. I’m just getting started. by @nesufu

mama, happy heavenly birthday. you’d be 87 years old in earth years today, but you live on forever in the hearts and minds of those whose life you blessed. I celebrate your born day as a symbol of the impact a good, kind loving heart can have on the world. for many years I’ve been resistant to share more of you - I’ve never posted photos of you on my feed - because it meant I had to accept you’re really gone, at least in the physical sense. I think about your last birthday we had together and the smile on your face when sis and I surprised you with treats that’ll satisfy your sweet tooth, something I’ve definitely inherited from you haha! I finally accept now that I won’t see your face again in this life time but I see you in my dreams, I see you when I pray, I see you when I talk to you and God for guidance, I see you when I’m about to do something for the first time, I see you when I’m unsure of what path to take next and I see you when I think of what unconditional love and kindness looks like. Agape. God blessed us with you and I promised myself earlier this year I’d be intentional about sharing who you were, then I got scared again but I realise your legacy is too special to not share who you were and still are. Thank you my angel, my Mama, my Jilly Bean. Happy birthday, enjoy that Eccles cake and a milky tea with 2 sugars up there! by @nesufu

second time in Paris, first time exploring. i was told i have to see the Eiffel Tower this time , i didn’t agree but i did it anyway 🫣I practiced saying “Le Louvre” (video at end) so much i felt like my non-existent French skills impressed French friend guide recorded me 😂 by @nesufu
