Dann hab ich angehalten 😅 by @netsteward

Yesterday I was at the climate strike with the full kit. I cycled to it, because you don’t want to navagite such a huge device through public transport. Arrived on site we stood for an hour or so. When the demo started moving I was able to go the full route without issues. Today I’ve muscle sores and my watch is giving me a training score of „don’t!“ but I’m full of energy and am feeling fine.

I can’t put in words how happy I’m about this! In March I was able to stand for mere 15min and now this 😍😍😍😍 by @netsteward

This is how healing from #postcovid looks like for me. Yesterday we've traveled back home from Scotland and today I awoke in decent shape.

I helped the kid to adjust his bike - had to walk up and down a few times because of missing tools - and after the kid drove off to visit a friend I got back home and took my bags to go shopping. I filled both bicycle bags with groceries and picked up a parcel before driving home. I carried everything up in one go and without breaks in between. When I arrived up in my flat I was breathing a bit heavier but feeling well besides that.
I didn't do much besides preparing food for the rest of the day, but that was just because of my adhd 😅

This list of mundane activities may sound boring and not worth mentioning for healthy people, but it fills me with immense joy that I'm able to do all of this again. And it gives me a lot of hope that more is possible in the future.

To be honest, I wouldn't have dreamed that this would be possible a few months ago. I never gave up hope and am to this day doing everything for getting better, but I'm consider myself lucky that I'm currently on the trajectory or if this. #longcovid is a beast that shouldn't be underestimated.

PS: Yes, I picked up a parcel of handcrafted carbon wheels from Hunt. I'm building up a lighter adventure bike to support my healing process. by @netsteward

Yesterday I was cycling through Grunewald again and it was glorious. My legs are quite weak compared to what they've accomplished in the past, but it felt great to feel the speed again. And I did 50k and still feel fine today! 💪 by @netsteward
