✢ 「 Netsui Yamanaka // 山中ねつい Setteis 」 🪴

↱ Hey! Omg, finally I’m done with these! 😭🙏 These are Netsui’s designs from Academy years through Shippuden, including his rogue-nin outfit he wears while with his dad (who is also the height ref in that pic). The other refs are Ino, Ranka and Kenji 😊

The Last and Boruto will come in a later post, mostly because I’m having trouble coming up with designs for them 💀

Also yes, Netsui is still a genin by the end of Shippuden! His skills are miles ahead of genin rank but like Naruto and Sasuke, he never officially gets promoted… 😬

(Pls ignore how some of the pics are different sizes, stupid instagram 😖)

Also sorry again for the super small text! I always forget insta makes the pics so tiny. Hopefully it’s still readable 😞

I can’t wait to get back to story posts now!!! I spent way too long on these 😭

Bases: too many for me to remember unfortunately 😅

✢ 「 Ranka Suzune // 紗音らんか Setteis 」 🎸

↱ Finally! I’ve been working on giving Ranka some proper setteis for awhile, and they’re all done! These are his designs from Academy years through Shippuden :))

Once again, like Netsui’s, designs for The Last and Boruto will come later as I haven’t properly started to plan those out yet. 😅

Some basic notable info for Ranka:

💛 Birthdate: April 29

💛 Kekkei Genkai: Sound Release (modified explosion release) - Ranka’s sound release is artificial and a result of Orochimaru’s experimentation. Originally, he was born with Explosion release.

He is meant to be the perfected version of Team Dosu, in the way that his sound waves come organically from his body rather than implanted tools like them.

(Dosu’s team knows and kinda resents Ranka for this - feeling inferior to him. They were essentially the prototypes, so they don’t like him 😭)

💛 Personality: Very laid back and optomistic, always loving to meet new people and very sociable. He’s also humble, the type to give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. A bit naive and nosy - though his intentions are always sincere.

💛 Hobbies: He’s an amazing singer, able to reach perfect pitch because of his modified vocal cords. He loves to sing and play music with his guitar, and keeps a little pocket notebook to write song lyrics in.

💛 He gets the slash on his throat during the timeskip to Shippuden from a mission. He has some PTSD from this, so that’s why he wears his ninja plate on his neck, to prevent a similar injury.

⚠️ Some bases were used, though the second to last slide is my artwork! 🫶

✢ 「 Juyo Kitaizaki // 気体崎じゅよ Settei 」 🐑

Commission by: @wanii.ise_kun

↱ (Re)introducing a new oc! I posted about her once a few years ago, so if anyone remembers her I’ll be pleasantly surprised lmao! Her story has gotten a lot of rework, so I feel now is a good time to bring her back in. :))

Name: Juyo Kitaizaki
Age: 18-19 (Shippuden) (2 years older than Netsui)
Clan: Kitaizaki
Kekkei Genkai: Smoke Release ☁️

She accompanies Netsui and his dad Iwai during the timeskip years. She’s a brawler and slave from the coliseum featured in Boruto, an underground fighting ring where rouge ninja place bets to compete for money, goods, ect.

Juyo is the reigning champion for 5 years in a row. Netsui is pitted against her and manages to beat her, though it’s a tough fight.

From winning, she is then awarded ownership to Iwai and Netsui who accept her into their group. (One of the collesium rules being that the losing party must forfeit ownership). Though they initially entered the fighting ring for different reasons, Iwai honors the code and decides to take her along.

Eventually, Juyo and Netsui form a bond and become close friends. He learns of her heritage on a mysterious secret island growing up and her status as one of its lost princesses.

She’s on a mission of her own, and Netsui might be the last piece she’s missing to finally achieve it!

——
I have SO MUCH lore for her oh my gosh guys. I’ll try to go more in depth about her backstory and clan in a later post.
(˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Thank you so much to @wanii.ise_kun for the cutest art! Everyone pls go commission!! 🥹❤️

✢ 「 OC-Tober day 2: “Sleepwear”」 💤

↱ Hey hey! Attempting to do OCtober this year and I’m already late 😭 I probably won’t do every single day but just the ones I have time for.

In modern au, Netsui’s favorite game is plants vs zombies. He’s not a huuuuge gamer but he does enjoy playing from time to time. 😙

His hairstyle is inspired by Len’s pyjama module in project diva, it’s super cutie ✨ Ranka has some headphones around his neck and a sleep mask in his hair. Probably just woke up 🙂‍↔️

I really rushed these but hopefully I can get more prompts done! there’s so many things I want to draw this month 😭

✢ 「ねつらん 💕」

↱ I’m back from the dead! I live! It’s been a while, I had to take a short break from Insta for a bit. I’ve had these doodles sitting in my procreate for a looooong time. Just something simple and cute to post for now 😙

It was just the first pic originally, but then I got an idea for how Ranka ended up like that. Funny to think of an enemy ninja running around whose jutsu is turning people into little plush dolls (and only the power of love reverses it I guess..? 😭)

✢ 「 redraw ♦️- 嘘つき」

↱ I saw this pic going around on TikTok and had to do it with Netsui and his dad Iwai. It fits them so well 🫠

During the timeskip to Shippuden, Iwai tells Netsui a whole lotta stuff that’s not true. He lies about his itentions for wanting to reconnect with his son, saying he loves Netsui and that his mom, Ume, purposely kept him away from Iwai for all these years.

Really, he just wants to use Netsui to transfer his curse mark to him so that Iwai can gain back 20+ years of his life.

He doesn’t care about Netsui at all, though he acts like he does and manipulates him into taking half of the curse mark like Iwai planned.

Eventually, Netsui finds out about the horrible side effect of this mark and how it binds to your soul, cutting your life span in half.

Netsui is deeply hurt and shocked by this, convinced his dad had genuinely loved him. It cascades into a brutal battle and Netsui knows then that everything he’d been lead to believe was a lie.

——

… I really need to post more content of Iwai, or just this arc in general. The lore goes deep but I’m still planning a lot of stuff so I’m iffy on making it just yet 😭 it’s time for me to do it!!

✢ 「 Naruto Chibi Cafe 🧁 ✨」

↱ Had to jump on this trend! The art is so cute 🥲💕 I tried to copy the style as best I could.

Ranka is listening to a Walkman (probably some 80s jams) and Netsui is eating a chocolate bar 😙

They’re both carrying their favorite sweets, banana pudding and chocolate cake (tho Netsui likes anything chocolate really, he’s addicted 🤣)

✢ 「 Art Fight 2026 dump! 🎨💥」

↱ Here’s all the art I was able to complete for this year! This is the first art fight I’ve participated, it was so much fun 🥲 I love drawing other’s OCs and it was a really good chance for me to practice my coloring/rendering! I went for a sketchy/messy vibe with these.

I only wish I could’ve done revenge for some last attacks I got, there just wasn’t enough time left in the event for me to get them done. 😭 Regardless, I’m so so thankful for each attack I got!! Thank you so much to everyone who attacked me. All the art is so cute and I still can’t stop looking at them 🥹❤️

For next year, I plan to attack those that I didn’t have time for revenge. Now that I know how the event works, it should go by more smoothly 🙏

✢ 「 Happy Birthday! 06.27 🎊」

↱ It’s my birthday!! And like every year I had to draw something for it. And once again like every year, it’s completely rushed and unfinished.. 🙂‍↔️ But hey! At least its something 😙

This was actually a sketch I started for my birthday last year, but scrapped it and thankfully found it again. Netsui is SUPPOSED to be sprinkling confetti over me but I realized I didn’t have a brush for that, so it’s confetti….stars! I guess 😅

30 flirty and thriving as my mom would say. Can’t believe I’ve made it this far 🤣 And 6-ish years with Netsui and Ranka!! I never thought that I would get so invested into these characters and this community starting out, but this has been the best ride and I look forward to many more!! I’ve met so many wonderfully awesome people here through the years. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Genuinely love you guys so much, thank you for supporting me and my silly ocs 🥲❤️

✢ 「 Yuuwa Yamanaka // 山中ユウワ Settei 」 ❌

↱ RTN Netsui is here! Woohoo!!! In this universe, he goes by his birth name Yuuwa because his mother never miscarried her pregnancy with his younger half-brother, thus never resorting to the name switch. His little brother is instead named Netsui. 😙

Yuuwa’s personality is very upfront, reckless and mischievous. He’s a huge troublemaker and likes to live on the wild side, doesn’t like to conform to authority and has that “live fast, die young” mentality.

He has no issue with speaking his mind, doesn’t care about the opinions of others and rarely backs down from a challenge, this often leading into physical fights and arguments with others who irk him.

He loves to have fun and is very compassionate and protective of his friends and family, willing to do almost anything for their sake. Ino (shy and meek in this universe), tends to stick by him in certain social situations where she struggles.

His relationship with his mom is distant and strained, mostly due to her being at a loss for how to handle him and Yuuwa always acting out and getting in trouble for her attention.

They still love each other of course, though their issues keep them apart.

Like in canon, he still doesn’t want to be a ninja. But unlike canon, he graduates anyway because he wants his mom’s love and praise.

——

I’d love to yap more about this au but this caption is already long LMAO I’ll post more soon!
