We celebrated our newest eau de parfum with @moorrgs over dinner at @leveaudor on New York’s Upper East Side. A very special evening for a fragrance that’s been more than a year in the making, surrounded by friends of Nette who helped us welcome Mr. Cloud home.

Sometime in early 2025, @moorrgs was interviewed by @intothegloss, and she told them that her favorite candle was a Nette one. We were so delighted and immediately reached out to her team to see how we could work with her. Many months and conversations later, we decided to create an eau de parfum in collaboration with her–one that was inspired by the leisure world of tennis. Over the course of the year of development, her world evolved, and so ours did too. Mr. Cloud is still very much in that world of leisure but it’s so much more complex and full of depth now. Luminous freesia, a slight hint of freshly cut grass, tuberose, cold milk, blonde woods, skin musks–it’s fresh and clean and sexy all at once. by @nette.nyc

“Tuberose is my favorite floral note in perfumery and when our perfumer, Antoine Maisondieu, presented us with a pure tuberose note touched with the creaminess of cold milk in our first development meeting with @moorrgs, we knew we had to build something around it. Every single person in the room stopped in their tracks when they smelled it, and that room was filled with the pickiest noses in the world! To me, it smelled like pure leisure–the ease of an afternoon at a private tennis club, fresh flowers lining the path to the courts. The making of a fragrance is not for the faint of heart–it’s a lengthy, complex process that truly takes a village. Thankfully, we have the best one. Thank you to our team at @givaudanperfume, including perfumer @amaisondieu, who worked tirelessly to bring our vision with @moorrgs to life in the most beautiful way we could’ve imagined. Thank you to @freddy_provence, our guiding hand in all things fragrance development, who offered the clearest of opinions and direction through the course of the year. And thank you to Morgan Riddle, who showed up early to every meeting and shoot, came prepared with very specific ideas of what she liked and didn’t like, and proved to be one of the most insightful, intelligent, and overall lovely human beings we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with. We were honored to be the official scent of @heirlome’s first #nyfw show. Heirlome founder @stephaniesuberville selected Pear Jam eau de parfum to scent the show and fragrance the models as they walked the runway. It is a scent that was inspired by NYC in the 90s—optimistic and romantic with the protective properties of Japanese koji pear. Both Heirlome and Nette share the idea that craft is important and that things are worth taking the time to make properly. Heirlome works with artisans to bring generations of knowledge and technique into each collection. Nette works with the world’s most talented perfumers to turn poems into scent. Different mediums but a shared belief in the people behind the work, the beauty of making things well. A natural pairing.
