My husband who puts up with all my flaws

What are your current special interests and hyperfixations?
I love Sailor moon
art!!! and learning about witchcraft, mental illnesses and female killers lol

What is being in your body like for you? my body is kinda like a tiny disabled mentally and physically old person with the mind of a 33year old and outward appearance of a 23.

When do you feel the most vulnerable? when overwhelmed by lights, sounds and people. I just wanna hide and shut out the world.

What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
•only you can change your bad situation
•Make your own family if yours won't act like one to you.

What do you value most in a friendship? Honesty

If you could be anything what would you be?
Funny enough, a tree.
I always joke and say when I die I'm gonna come back as a tree.
I'd give shade to someone warm and tied.
I'd protect someone from rain
and I'd provide oxygen for people to breathe and some how that make my soul happy as weird as it sounds.

Is there a message you would like to share about being neurodivergent? (advice, encouragement, insight, wisdom) being weird or different is a blessing not a curse. you will find your people, don't give up. someone out there will love listening to you ramble on about your special interests. by @neuroqueercollective

How has your life been different than what you imagined? I'm not sure, but when I was a kid, I didn't even think I'd make it though high school, I thought I'd

Can you tell me about a moment when a person’s kindness made a difference in your life? When my college counselor kept in contact with me even after I left school and remembered me and always checked in on my mental health.

If you could receive anything what would you want to receive?
at this very moment my 1st thought would be a service dog.

Meet one of our awesome volunteers that helps out with the Discord.

Name/Nickname: Tori/Skelly
Pronouns: They/them or he/him
Neurodivergencies/dx: cPTSD, ADHD, ASD, Agoraphobia, Depersonalization Disorder and Anxiety
Accommodations (if needed/wanted): I can get overwhelmed in conversations so if I leave suddenly i just need to recharge. I also have memory issues, so please be patient with me. If you see my writing down my life in this server it is usually to help me remember and keep track of myself.
Hobbies/Special Interests: Robotics, Legos, Stardew Valley, Crochet, Watercolor painting, Tarot, Squishmallows and stim toys.
Two facts about yourself: I am going to school for Engineering and I have a lot of obscure knowledge about navigating medical paperwork in the US that I am more than willing to share. Hello everyone! I want to use this space to share neurodivergent 2SLGBTQIA+ folks stories and artwork. I thought I'd start this off by sharing a bit about myself. My name is Mabe. I currently live on Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Attawandaron Territory located on the Haldimand Tract. I am a queer trans mad neurodivergent white settler. I'm a poet, amateur artist, and creative mind. I love learning and I'm passionate about social justice and intersectional feminism. I value community care and interdependence and I dream of disability justice and queer and trans liberation. I love going on adventures, traveling and living abroad. My goal in life is to create a better world for neuroqueer folks and one for rural queer folks . I want everyone in the 2SLGBTQ+ community have a place to call home.

Hello everyone,

I have a dream of creating a collective or community for neurodivergent queer and trans folks. I want a place where everyone who holds the identities of being both neurodivergent and queer and/or neurodivergent and trans and/or neurodivergent and another part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community to share our stories and artwork with the world, to hangout with each other, and to support each other. Community has always been a very important aspect in my life, and although a lot of the closest friends I have in my life right now are neurodivergent and queer and/or trans, I follow many social media accounts of neurodivergent queer and/or trans folks, and I am a part of a couple of facebook groups I feel like there are elements missing that I am in search of. In life if there is something I want but it doesn't exist I want to find ways to make it happen. I want to create a world where people are more accepting and understanding of neurodivergent queer and trans folks, so that we can have more spaces to connect in from around the world. I ask that only neurodivergent folks who are part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community fill out this form. Self diagnosed and questioning identities are valid and welcome to fill it out. There is no gatekeeping on who is neurodivergent or a part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I just ask that you hold both of these identities in some capacity. You are welcome to fill out as many questions as you would like.
