💎💎💎 crystal clear vinyl from Danielle Ponder, this is one powerful record from lyrics to production, boom bap, gospel. EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED is one to listen to in a quiet room, turned up loud. Stunning visuals too, the whole package.

Lombok ♥️

It’s true what they say, Lombok really does feel like Bali 40 years ago. We’re leaving the island tomorrow feeling fulfilled, tired, sunburnt and with rice belly’s but bigger hearts and wider eyes.

For those considering a trip here, add these to your list:

Tetebatu - Sasak culture, rice paddies, look into @bungamaliqtetebatu

Sembalun - mountains, volcano, hiking Rinjani

Gili Asahan - coral reefs, white sand, eco lodge

El Niño or not, it’s a great summer so far ☀️ in between food shoots and farm shops we’ve been putting everything….EVERYTHING into this magazine and it seems to be working. Shouts to everyone believing in Wordplay and supporting what we do, there’s still loads more to announce over the coming weeks ✨🙌

Special thanks to @spicer.photo for the good shots in this bunch 🙏 by @nev.wp

With a UK distributor we release the new issue into the wild this Thursday. This means for the first time they will land in our stores nationwide all on the same date!

An incredible amount of work goes into these. It's time for thanks and to reflect on the team behind every word, image, sponsorship and event.

You're all amazing, @wordplaymagazine is lucky to have you believe in the vision (especially after so many years). Zero KPI's, throughput, caveats, or commercial buzzword melt processes, just here to create the good shit, the shit that's missing.

Who's ready for June's issue? 😅

You won't often see Nev in front of the camera, but new year new me and all that. The new magazine has been out a month now, but the question is what does a physical flappy paged magazine actually sound like?

Rap, Jazz, Soul, it's all in here. Make sure you grab one before it's too late. We are now running low thanks to everyone supporting what we do.
