From the day I met you, you’ve brought nothing but joy, love, and laughter into my life. You have this incredible way of making people feel seen and loved. Your kindness, your compassion, and your thoughtfulness have always amazed me. And the way you’ve chased your dreams, giving everything you had to make them happen, has inspired me more than you’ll ever know.
When I think about us, I don’t just think about the big moments. I think about the little ones that somehow became unforgettable. Like the time I had to carry your drunk ass on my back to get you inside, only for both of us to end up on the ground. I still have the battle scars on my knees from that night, I wouldn’t trade them for anything because every time I see them, I think of you and laugh. I think about Puerto Rico, when we got so sunburned after surfing that we were peeling for days. We looked crazy, but somehow we still found a way to laugh through it.
I think of every sleepless sleepover the laughing until it hurt, the kind that left us breathless and teary-eyed over things that probably weren’t even that funny to anyone else. I think of us always agreeing with each other’s overreactions, even when we were absolutely in the wrong. I think of the endless oversharing about situation-ships, dissecting every text, the burner accounts and detective work like we were uncovering a murder. Those moments feel so small, but they’re some of the biggest pieces of us. I’ll miss getting ready together with the music blasting, tying on a hundred different outfits, giving each other advice on what to wear. Somehow getting ready was always more fun than the event itself. I’ll miss hearing you sing. You always sang with your whole heart, whether you knew the words or not. Somehow you made everyone around you want to sing too. Your laugh and the way it was always the loudest in the room, your voice, your energy- they could fill a room in a way that’s impossible to describe.
