I’m starting to think the BLM gave me a broken wild horse. 😅 Nelson is so easy! He’s handling the trail like a pro, not a baby. Loads and hauls like a dream, stands quietly at the trailer in new places, ponies without a care in the world. Trash can? Who cares. Juniper on his heels? No big deal. Logs? Steps over them carefully. At this point I’m starting to think he’s secretly an old domestic horse or something! by @nevadadiscoveryride

A Huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Leather and Lace dancing event in Virginia City. Nelson has been with me for one week and has settled in quite nicely. I do short sessions with him multiple times a day and hang out with him a lot. He’s timid but sweet. Can’t wait to see how he progresses! 🏇

🎉 Introducing my new project horse! I just picked this little mustang up today. He’s two years old, from the Marietta HMA in Mineral Co. He will spend the next year with me in trail horse bootcamp and then be available for a new home. I’ll be sharing his training here so stay tuned. FIRST THINGS FIRST: This guy needs a name!
