Today marks the 365th day that you and I have chose each other. To me that choice is one of the most special things in this world. The continuous passionate pursuit of love for one another is nothing short of intentional.

Eagan, you are the one of the most intentional people I know. Reflected in your kindness (my favorite thing about you) in the beautiful way it reaches me and others is no doubt the result of a person determined and passionate about giving love to those around them. Being with you experiencing that love, has and will always be a blessing that I hope to be the recipient of for many years to come.

Dear FCCLA,

From being #1 in the state, to #2 in the nation doesn’t just happen. It takes hard work, dedication, and mental control. Skills all of which FCCLA has given me.

The young 7th grader that I once was, the me who didn’t even know what the abbreviation FCCLA stood for, would be in awe of the representative that I am today.

Thank you FCCLA for allowing me to share my passion with my state and the country. Thank you for being a constructive environment that is focused on believing in the youth of America. And lastly, thank you FCCLA for teaching me that I am capable of more than I could ever imagine.

I can confidently say that this weekend has been one of the best times of my life!!

Not only was I crowned the new Miss South Dakota’s Teen, I also got to share this experience with these amazing people!

To my crown sisters, you guys have changed my life. I have never been so inspired by a group of people. Your drive, determination, and perseverance has made me a stronger, better women. I love you guys with my whole heart and I can’t wait to share my year with you!!!❤️

I am so blessed to have the opportunity to represent South Dakota at a state and national level! This once in a lifetime opportunity has presented itself to me and I am ready for it!!

*some explanation to the video*
The announcer announced that I received a superior award, but she made a mistake and was supposed to announce that I received a superior with distinction (a perfect score). She then announced that I received a superior with distinction! I had to walk up to her because I didn’t hear what she said and she then repeated to me the amazing news. I didn’t know if I would ever receive a superior with distinction, so yeah, I cried.

I am so proud of all of the performers this weekend and the people that made it possible. I am also incredibly proud of my team, we worked hard and received a superior. I went home with 2 metals because of them and for that I am so grateful. Thank you and congratulations to everyone!!🎉 by @nevaehrkee

I know this is a late post but I need to say some things! I am so grateful to be wearing the title of Miss Missouri River’s Outstanding Teen!
